How to go from ordinary to extraordinary

Discover 5 ways to take your life to the next level

Posted by: Team Tony

How to go from ordinary to extraordinary

Extraordinary lives don’t just happen. Elite athletes and movie stars don’t wake up one day having achieved peak success. They’ve made a powerful commitment to take their lives from ordinary to extraordinary . They understand that the true key to success isn’t the family you’re born into or how much money you have. The ability to take ordinary to extraordinary comes from within.

How to go from ordinary to extraordinary

Watch this video from Tony and take your life to the next level today:

How to go from ordinary to extraordinary

It is in moments of decision that your destiny is shaped. In order to create change, you must unlock the right tools to become an unstoppable force. With these techniques, your life will never be the same again.

1. Raise your standards

To take ordinary to extraordinary , you must raise your standards. Tony says, “We all get what we tolerate, in ourselves and other people. When you’re no longer willing to tolerate something, that’s when your life changes.” The standards you set for yourself are the difference between ordinary results and extraordinary outcomes. You shift your life forever the moment you raise your standards – so, right now, consciously decide there is a higher standard for you.

2. Turn your “shoulds” into “musts”

As Tony says, “The difference between ‘must’ and ‘should’ is the life you want and the life you have.” We don’t get what we want. We get what we have to have. When something is a must, you find a way. How do you do this? You must uncover your true purpose in life. Discover what you really want. Then relate every goal back to that purpose. Imagine yourself old and gray – what will you regret about your life? Those are your musts. Those are your inspirations to achieve greatness.

3. Face your fears

If you want to take the island, burn the boats. When there’s no way out, we’re forced to face our fears . It creates a hunger that makes us unstoppable. What fears do you need to face? Conquer your fear of failure by developing inner strength . Conquer your fear of inadequacy by replacing limiting beliefs with empowering ones. And conquer your fear of being unlovable by being vulnerable in your relationships. Only the bold will be able to go from ordinary to extraordinary .

4. Invest in yourself

It’s often said that the greatest investment you can make is the one in yourself. If you’re not growing, you’re dying , and no one knows this better than those who have taken their lives from ordinary to extraordinary . Feeding your mind with new ideas, learning new skills and constantly improving on your weaknesses puts you in a growth mindset that will take you to the heights of success.

5. Go beyond the bare minimum

There’s a reason that the word “extraordinary” is just “ordinary” with “extra” tacked onto it. To take your life to the next level, you need to go above and beyond – do what is necessary, and then do something extra. Get unreasonable. What’s unrealistic to average people is just unreasonable to extraordinary people. So be extraordinary, get unreasonable and achieve something magnificent.

How to go from ordinary to extraordinary

What does living an extraordinary life really look like?

Well, in order to see the “extra,” let’s look at an ordinary life first. When I say ordinary, I mean you’re in a job you don’t particularly love, you’re plodding along day to day, and you’re just kind of existing.

An extraordinary life, on the other hand, is one you design. You live a life that you want to live, a life that’s exciting and invigorating. You don’t have to live a life of extraordinary wealth, though there’s nothing wrong with that. But you are in charge of your life. You’re doing what you want to do, you’re being paid for doing something you’d be doing anyway, and you’re genuinely happy. To me, the best definition of an extraordinary life is a happy life.

Here are seven specific ways to transform your life from ordinary to extraordinary.

1. Understand yourself.

You need to figure out what motivates you. What excites you? What are you passionate about? What is it that you love to do?

If you’re not sure, spend some time understanding yourself. Observe what makes you happy, what makes you excited to get out of bed in the morning and what makes you feel fulfilled. Focus on doing the things in life that you’re dramatically excited about.

2. Get paid for what you love to do.

Once you figure out what motivates you, try to design your life where you are maximizing the amount of time you’re doing that activity. Maybe that means setting aside time in the morning or on the weekends at first. Then try to design a life where you’re actually being paid to do what you love. The goal is to earn your living doing something that you’re passionate about and would do for free.

3. Invest in lifelong learning.

If you want to live an extraordinary life, you have to focus on improving yourself every day. At the end of the year, you should understand and know something that you didn’t know at the beginning of the year. The only way you can coast in life is downhill. Stay green and growing. Challenge your brain with mastering something that you didn’t know before.

4. Have high expectations.

This is critical to leading an extraordinary life. Don’t become cynical and think, Good things don’t happen to me. Things always go wrong for me. Have high expectations for yourself and your life. Dream big. Let yourself get excited about a big goal or a big idea. Stay inspired to move forward and continue growing. A big dream can help you do that.

5. Be financially independent.

There’s a difference between financially independent and rich. Financially independent is where you live within your means. You don’t have massive amounts of debt. Out in the world, you might look at some people and think, Wow, they must be rich: Look at that car, look at that house. But in reality, they might owe everybody known to man. To me, that is not extraordinary. Extraordinary is where nobody—no institution, no bank—has their thumb on you. Dream big, but prepare for adversity. Expect and plan to succeed, but realize life doesn’t always go great.

Being financially independent means you’re never in a position where you’d be ruined if the world around you went downhill. When the financial collapse happened in 2008, my kids were going to private school. I remember so many other people pulled their kids out of school. I knew friends who had planes and then suddenly didn’t have planes anymore because so much of their life was built on debt.

Whatever level I’ve been at in life, I’ve always believed in the idea that a paid-for car is a good car. A car you owe a gazillion dollars on so you can drive a Maserati is not a good car. Become financially independent.

6. Deal equally well with success and failure.

If you try many things, if you live a life of adventure, you’re going to have a lot of success, and a lot of failure. Hanging in my office is a framed copy of Rudyard Kipling’s poem, “If.” At one point, it says, “If you can meet with Triumph and Disaster and treat those two impostors just the same…”

Things are never as good as you think they are when everything’s going good, and on the other side, things are never as bad as you think they are when things are going crappy. What sets you apart is the ability to go through life, grow through life and weather the storm. There are going to be sunny days and stormy days. That’s just fact. Put yourself in a position where you can financially, physically, emotionally and mentally make it through.

7. Work harder.

The founder of Primerica, Art Williams, used to give a speech on “A Little Bit More.” He talked about the difference between the super successful person and the average person. He said the winner does what it takes… and a little bit more. You can’t go through life just doing what’s necessary. You have to do what’s beyond necessary. If one level of effort will get you ahead, then the next level of effort will get you to an extraordinary life.

Succeeding in life is not easy. It takes hard work. The only place where success comes before work is in the dictionary. Work hard. Pay the price. But make sure that you’re working hard and paying a price toward a goal that you want to achieve. Do that, and an extraordinary life is within your reach.

How to go from ordinary to extraordinary

If you want to become an extraordinary chess player, you need to memorize a whole lot of possible moves. If you want to become an extraordinary runner, you need to develop exceptional aerobic capacity and learn to move your legs really fast. If you want to be an extraordinary entrepreneur, you need to develop a host of skills from sales to strategy.

These seem like three totally different quests. But according to a handful of experts, that which initially appears unrelated actually share deep, hidden similarities. No matter what domain you’re hoping to master, these folks say, if you want to perform at at an extraordinary level, you’re going to have to pass through the same essential stages and struggles.

1. Commit.

The first step to becoming extraordinary is both obvious and profound. You have to choose to excel. “Every day, make the choice to be extraordinary at whatever it is you’re planning to do. It’s a daily decision,” instructs tech forecaster and CEO Daniel Burrus in a post on the topic, for instance.

“You have to dream big. Your dreams should be so big that they scare you,” agrees traveler and blogger Caz Makepeace. But don’t just stare out the window thinking ‘I wish. ‘ or ‘If only. ‘ Give yourself permission to chase truly audacious goals.

“You deserve this to be a reality in your life,” she stresses. “If you don’t stand up for your dreams then no one else will.”

2. Take responsibility.

Even if one day you pump your fist in the air one day and declare, ‘I deserve to be extraordinary!’ you’re not going to get very far towards making that a reality unless you also believe you have the capacity to make those dreams come true.

Becoming extraordinary involves developing a true growth mindset and really believing your talents and skills can expand to fit the size of dreams. There are limitations in this world (I will never outrun Usain Bolt, for instance) but there are a lot fewer of them than most people believe. Those who accomplish the extraordinary are the minority who see opportunity where everyone else sees problems (or luck).

“Most people underestimate what they can do–probably even you,” claims Burrus. “The fact is that we are all capable of doing so much more than we think.”

And yes, circumstances hinder some and help others, often randomly and unfairly. Those who manage to accomplish the extraordinary aren’t immune from this reality. They just take responsibility for reaching their goals from whatever starting point they were given.

3. Push yourself (and accept discomfort).

Choosing to dream big and giving up your excuses might be psychologically uncomfortable for some folks, but unfortunately these are only the first of many discomforts you’re going to have to accept if you want to become truly extraordinary. Turning intention into reality means constantly pushing your own boundaries, and just like with physical exercise, ‘no pain, no gain’ applies.

If you’re aiming to be extraordinary in any domain outside athletics, you’ll probably escape without too many sore muscles, but the constant learning required to attain extraordinary status will regularly leave you with a bruised ego. Failure and criticism are a fact of life when you’re pursuing the extraordinary.

How many times do you think Olympic pole vaulters don’t make the bar? How many times do world-class figure skaters crash to the ice? Many. So will you. Even seemingly “easy” ways to be extraordinary — like gossip column notoriety — involve enduring a lot of discomfort, notes journalist and founder Joe Elvin.

“Take for example those reality TV stars and social media sensations,” he writes on Dumb Little Man. “They’re not particularly skillful, but they’re still willing to put their full personalities in front of the public eye. They don’t pretend and they’re prepared to promote themselves hard. They’re willing to work tirelessly even when criticism rains down on them from all corners.”

The bottom line is this: being extraordinary isn’t easy. No blog post or expert can take away the difficulties of attaining mastery in your chosen domain. But being extraordinary also isn’t mysterious. If you want to achieve great things, you need to go about it the same way that everyone else who has ever scaled great heights has — with a lot of hard work and tough psychological wrangling.

It’s really not that difficult to live an extraordinary life. Most people look at those who are having success around them, and desire the same thing, but end up tossing their dreams in the too-hard-basket.

They don’t understand that going from ordinary to extraordinary involves doing just a little bit extra.

It is how I managed to live and travel the world for 14 years, grow one of the most popular travel blogs online in just a year, land a partnership project with Qantas, and have very quick success with my Mummy blog.

All you need to concentrate on is doing 10% more than those around you- that little bit extra in the following areas.

Dreaming

Everything in life starts with a dream. Those who move on to the attainment of their goals understand how important doing that little bit extra is with dreaming.

You have to dream big. Your dreams should be so big that they scare you. Don’t allow thoughts of limitations and excuses as to why those dreams can’t come true enter your head. Just dream your wildest dream. Tell that genie exactly what it is you desire.

There are two very important steps you must undertake when dreaming

  1. Say Yes to the Dream
  2. Understand that you deserve it.

In saying yes to the dream, you are in fact saying that you deserve this to be a reality in your life. If you don’t stand up for your dreams then no one else will.

Whatever you are dreaming you are dreaming it because it is the life that was purely destined for you. Of course you deserve it. Why wouldn’t you?

Saying yes to the dream means that you commit yourself 110% to the attainment of it. You understand that the “yes” starts the wheels in motion to move the dream from absent minded wishing on the couch to full fledge participation in making it become a reality.

Learning

You cannot move into the realm of success without first learning how to get there. All successful people spend years learning how to perfect their craft and develop a mindset destined for success.

They don’t waste time filling their heads with gossip, reality TV shows, negative news, dis-empowering emotions or anything else that will interfere with them moving forward.

They find out who are the successful people in their niche and then they learn how they can follow in their footsteps.

There is rarely a spare moment that goes by where I do not have a book in my hand, a podcast in my ear, or I’m having conversation with someone who can help me move forward to achieving my goals.

Invest your time and money into learning and growing yourself.

Taking Action

Sitting on the couch dreaming will never be enough to make them your reality. You have to take action. Achieving success means playing full out.

Doing 10% more than everyone else will propel you out in front.

For every action you undertake, push yourself just that little bit more. Take on that extra hour work each day, write that one extra blog post, and talk to that one extra person who is where you want to be. Taking Action will involve you having to undertake the following

Stretch your comfort zones

Taking action means there are times when you are going to have to get uncomfortable. We only grow by stretching. By all means take baby steps if you need to.

Every day do at least one thing that makes you feel uncomfortable. You are entering a new world, it will scare you, but don’t let that fear prevent you from attaining the dream you deserve.

Make the Sacrifices

You cannot get without giving something in return. Understand that in order for you to go from ordinary to extraordinary, you will have to make sacrifices. This could be a sacrifice of time, money, relationships, comfort levels, character traits, or material possessions.

Work out what price you are willing to pay and then pay it. The rewards will be worth it.

Take the Opportunities

The longer you are involved in the process of moving from ordinary to extraordinary the easier it will be for you to see the opportunities that float pass you daily.

I do not believe in luck. I believe opportunities are always showing up in your face, but often you aren’t prepared enough to see them yet. By following these steps the “luck” will show up when you are prepared for them.

When the opportunities arrive, don’t wait around with uncertainty, grab a hold of them. Part of the reason we secured a partnership deal with Qantas was because we took an opportunity that no one else did. We were able to see the potential rewards, so we made the sacrifice and said “Yes, please.”

Interacting With Others

So much of what I have achieved in my life is a direct result in my ability to interact with others. Just that little bit extra when interacting with others can go a very long way.

All you need to do is give a little bit of an extra smile, help them in a little extra way, use a little bit extra manners, take some time to get to know and understand them better.

You cannot have success in your life without helping and sharing with others along the way. Make your interactions a two way street.

Your focus should be on authentic relationship building and what can I do to help you rather than how can you help me. It is by helping and serving others first that you will be rewarded in return.

Live with Passion

For me this is the extra nip of chili in your soup. The power kicker that will have your dreams coming towards you at rocket speed.

If you do all the others well but leave this off, your dreams will come crawling to you. Going from ordinary to extraordinary means you are living with passion.

You are spending your days excited about your life and your future. You are living from your higher emotive states of love, enthusiasm, and gratitude.

Celebrate every win that happens no matter how small and be extremely grateful for them.

You are living your dreams; there is much to be thankful for in that as there are many others that don’t get the same opportunities.

Yes, the opportunities are there for everyone, but many don’t take them as they are afraid of doing that little bit extra and they don’t believe they deserve it.

Be thankful that you were able to overcome those demons, and be enthusiastic in the fact that you can show others just how easy it can be. You can be the light that helps them find the way to their dreams becoming a reality.

It is just a little bit extra.

Once you have money, you will take time to protect it by avoiding future catastrophes. Be cautious and always assume the worst. The average millionaire or comfortably wealthy person works for himself or owns a business. This is a law that is hard to follow. Most people think a business is a risky proposition simply because there are so many factors that affect the success of a business. A million things can go wrong, but a million things can also go right.

Do not wait for business opportunities, create them. Entrepreneurs look at an empty lot and see possibility and a method for them to get rich. Those with a poor mindset simply see an empty lot. The rich look at garbage and see a garbage hauling business, a rust-‐cleaning service, a recycling center. Those with a poor mindset see only the discarded tires, the dirt and the weeds.

Ordinary to Extraordinary Business l Episode 040: Becoming Truly Wealthy Part 1

Once you have established a firm financial foundation or put aside a little money, it is time to learn to invest. Many first time investors fall into the trap of waiting, and waiting until they “have enough.” The first thing you have to do is nix that notion, right now. You will find out by hearing these tips that even measly amounts can add up to great amounts over time. Others balk at investing because they think “I do not know enough to be a player.” That is right.

You do not. The truly wealthy understand how money works and never start sentences with the words “I do not know.” If you do not understand investing and how it works, it is time to start to do the legwork.

The following is a transcribed Video Q&A, so the text may not read like an edited article would. Scroll to the bottom to view this video in its entirety.

I do get the great opportunity to interview a lot of women who are doing a lot of amazing things and I think there is this tendency when someone’s listening to think, “God, if only I could do that, or if I didn’t have 18 kids in my house needing their diaper changed every single day.”

But I think there’s something really, really valuable in the fact of being exactly where God has you, and the women that I have on my show, if I came to them and say, “Hey, all these listeners think that you’re something special,” and they’re just normal, they would laugh at me and they would say, “No, I’m just doing what God asked me to do.”

I think wherever you are, whether that be a nursing mom or your homeschooling your kids, or you’re running the PTA at your kid’s school, or you’re doing prison ministry, there’s nothing glamorous about doing anything with a microphone, it’s actually the glamorous is like what you just do where God sees you and where he has you right where you are. Because all those women that are on the other side of my conversations, they would not want to be anywhere other than where God had them and so I just want to encourage women wherever your season is, whatever it is, be who God has you to be, do what he’s asked you to be, because it’s not greener on the other side. It’s not greener at all. Those women are just doing what God asked them to do.

How to go from ordinary to extraordinary

Written by: Caz at y travel blog.

“Wow! Your life sounds so amazing. You are so lucky.”

This is a comment I hear frequently about my life traveling the world. I hate it for two very important reasons.

Firstly, saying I’m lucky shows a total disregard for all the choices I have made in order to make my dreams come true. Secondly, but most importantly, those who believe in this fictitious Lady Luck have no awareness of the possibilities that are open to them.

Luck does not exist and believing in this dis-empowers a person tremendously. What they are saying is “It will never happen to me,” or “I am not good enough,” This idea of others being lucky, means those who believe in it don’t even make the effort to try and live an extraordinary life.

Lucky, you are reading this post today, because I am going to share with you how an ordinary person like me has been able to live an extraordinary life living and traveling around the world. I have been doing it since I graduated from University in 1997. I did not have access to large amounts of money, only large amounts of desire.

How to Live an Extraordinary Life

How to go from ordinary to extraordinary

All I did was a make a few extra choices and took a few extra actions. The difference between ordinary and extraordinary in reality is just that little bit extra.

Here are 5 extra ways you can start to go from ordinary to extraordinary.

Say yes to the dream

It’s incredible how most people miss this one simple, initial step. And it’s the reason why they remain on their comfy couches. They’ll sit and imagine what they will do once luck visits with their ideal life, not understanding that if you first say yes, the Universe will start moving things around to help bring the opportunities to take to live your dream life.

Saying yes shows your desire to really have what it is you are dreaming of and lays out your commitment to the attainment of it. It’s amazing what will come your way when you show the Universe you are serious.

Understand you deserve it

There is nothing wrong with you and there is no reason why you can’t live your dream life and be extraordinary. There is one simple little statement I say to myself daily. “If someone else can do it, then why not me.” Just saying that extra sentence each day, develops the belief that you can do it and you deserve it.

On your way to living your extraordinary life, you are going to meet with people who will tell you why you can’t do it. My response is always the same “Why not? If someone else is doing it, so can I.”

Take the opportunities

Amongst the “You’re so lucky” comments, there are few that come from wise old owls who understand the bigger picture. From their mouths come the words, “I wish I did it when I was young and the opportunities were there.”

Even though I don’t think age should ever be a barrier to living your dreams, the truth is that making your life extraordinary means taking the opportunities that come your way daily. Yes that is right, daily. It is not a lucky lottery that swings by a one in a million chance. When you say yes to living an extraordinary life, doors will swing open like an old saloon door when the posse rides into town. All you have to do is walk right on through them. Just that little bit of an extra step.

Make the Sacrifices

Gucci, Prada, Lexus, …… When I hear labels and brand names in conversations with others, I kind of shrink back quietly into the background. I am a label ignorant. All I know about brand names is that they carry with them a high price tag and a serious limitation of your ability to live your true dreams.

How to go from ordinary to extraordinary

Luxury labels don’t create long-lasting memories. They outdate, fall apart, get lost, or stolen. Just keeping these around comes at a high price as well; insurance costs, maintenance, spit and polish, matching shoes and belts. Doing that little bit extra means cutting back on luxuries, basing your life on minimalist needs, and putting all that extra cash into building an extraordinary life.

The sacrifices won’t always be tangible things either. It might mean sacrificing time.
You cannot get without giving up something first. It might mean working extra hours or jobs, spending less time with friends and family, giving up the TV, eating less, or learning more. Whatever the extraordinary life you desire, you have to decide on what your sacrifices need to be in order to obtain it, and then make the sacrifices.

Stretch the comfort zones

You don’t have to go from the couch to living in a foreign country in one day. All you need to do is a little bit extra each day. Talk to the checkout chick when you buy your groceries, offer a kind word to the tired waiter serving you your meal, or take a language lesson.

In order for you to live your extraordinary life you have to get uncomfortable. This is the only way we grow and move forward. Get uncomfortable one step at a time, slowly stretching out your comfort zones.

Each small baby step forward helps to prepare you for when your dream eventually arrives. You’ll discover that the dream will arrive quite subtly. Your increased confidence levels will help you to embrace it rather than run away in fear.

Live with Passion

This one little step encompasses so much and is the secret ingredient that brings your dream hurtling towards you at lightning speed. Living with passion means throwing your heart and soul into everything you do. It means living in total joy, accepting others as a gift in your life, and living in total gratitude for all that is coming your way.

How to go from ordinary to extraordinary

When you live with passion, you say you are excited by life and in love with it. And when you are in love with life, you will attract so many incredible things to continue to be amazed and grateful for. You get what you give. Period. Of all the little extra steps, this is the easiest and the most fun.

So you see, luck really has nothing to do with it. Luck is when preparedness meets opportunity. And those who live extraordinary lives clearly see this distinction. It all starts with just that little bit extra.

My pre nomadic life wasn’t a bad one. I was content with the path I had taken. I was running a successful business that I enjoyed; I had a great relationship with my husband (although not technically married, after 16 years together and traveling non stop for 1000 days together , ‘boyfriend’ doesn’t quite cut it); And we lived in a nice house in a nice neighborhood. Life was… nice.

But then tragedy struck. I lost a parent and the grief crushed me. For anyone who has lost a loved one you know how heartbreaking it is. Some days I felt like I couldn’t breathe.

After I was over the initial shock and grieving period (well, that never goes away but does get a little easier) I started to reevaluate my life. As cliché as it sounds I starting asking myself questions like “What am I doing with my life?” and “Will I be happy with what I have achieved once I leave this world?”

And the answers shocked me. I realized that if I died tomorrow (as morbid as that sounds) I wouldn’t be able to look back and be proud of what I accomplished. And for someone who has had success in business, won awards for that successful business and on the outside looked like she had a pretty good life, I know this sounds absurd but the life I was living wasn’t the one I had always wanted.

But it wasn’t until I was an adult that I started to travel. As a child I didn’t have the opportunity to travel, as my family did not have a lot of money. My first overseas trip wasn’t until I was 29. It was during this trip that I knew I had to make travel a big part of my life.

There is nothing like the feeling I get when I land in a new city. The new smells, the new climate, the new people and new cultures. It’s exhilarating! My adrenaline goes into overdrive when I travel and I feel excitement like never before. I forget all my troubles and stresses and I feel genuine contentment. It feels like I’ve come home, even though I’ve actually left home.

Travel has been my only true desire (besides Michael of course). I have never had the desire to have children. I have never had the ‘maternal instinct’ kick in. And the older I get (now 40) the more I realize it’s definitely not a choice for me. Lucky I found a man who has the same outlook… otherwise that could have been messy!

And because I’ve never felt that maternal purpose I have always questioned what my purpose actually is. I believe we are all meant for something extraordinary, the hard part is finding what it is. Some of us are meant to be extraordinary parents, some are meant to have extraordinary careers and some never quite figure it out.

How to go from ordinary to extraordinary

Well in March 2004 I figured it out. I knew that there was a whole world out there and somehow I wanted to see it all. This is when my fantasies of long-term travel started.

I’ve always been a gypsy at heart. We have moved from house to house and even city to city more times than I can count. We averaged about 18 months in each place we lived. I love change and I love new experiences – even if that new ‘experience’ is just 4 new walls. So the thought of traveling from city to city and country to country excited me to the core. It was exactly the life I was meant to live!

We started with yearly trips, most of which were international, and with each trip my longing for travel grew into something more passionate. I didn’t want to just have a vacation once a year, or sometimes we were lucky and it was twice a year. But that wasn’t the kind of travel I longed for. While it was nice and I am so grateful to have had those experiences, I wanted something more meaningful, more permanent. I wanted to live in other countries. I wanted to experience new cultures. A 3 week vacation just wasn’t going to cut it.

But of course, long-term travel takes money, a lot more money than a 3 week vacation, so it wasn’t something I could make happen over night. We needed to plan, budget and save for it. So over the years we continued to work hard, pay off debts and save money , all while keeping my eye on the big picture.

Some times the dream seemed so unreachable and sometimes I drifted off the path a little. But it was always in the back of my mind. This gave me the motivation to work harder, earn more money so some day I could turn the dream into a reality.

And it certainly didn’t happen over night but it DID happen! Exactly 8 years after my first international trip, we were boarding a plan with a one-way ticket to everywhere! Our first stop – A 3 month road trip across the US!

In the last 12 months we have been to dozens of countries and cities, seen amazing sights, met amazing people and have truly had the time of our lives. I have found my home – the world!

We sold our belongings, packed our bags and have been living the most extraordinary life. We have no idea how long we will be on this path so we enjoy every day as if it’s the last.

There is nothing wrong with an ordinary life if that’s the life you desire. But I have always known that I was meant for something extraordinary and after 37 years of ordinary I will enjoy every moment of my new enriched life.
