How to learn anything fast take these 5 powerful steps

How to learn anything fast take these 5 powerful steps

Put an average joe next to someone of success, and you’ll find that the latter had more knowledge to get to where they are today.

While there’s only so much time in the day to learn new skills, you can accelerate how fast you learn something. Whether you want to learn a new language, real estate, or how to start a business, the person who can learn faster will always have the upper hand in life.

Here are 5 powerful steps to learn anything faster :

1 . Method beats hours

When it comes to learning something new, the method will always beat the number of hours you put into something. This isn’t to say that the number of hours isn’t important, but you should choose which method will give you the best results.

For example, let’s say two people were driving from Boston to New York City. It doesn’t matter how skilled or committed the first driver is. If he’s driving a beat up pickup truck, and the second driver has a Ferrari, the first driver will lose.

Your method is the vehicle that will become the engine of where you want to go. With anything you want to learn, there will be dozens of available methods to follow, and “experts” to learn from. This means that you want to spend a lot of time understanding who you’re learning from, what credibility they have, and how it fits with your learning style.

“Money is like gasoline during a road trip. You don’t want to run out of gas on your trip, but you’re not doing a tour of gas stations.” —Tim O’Reilly

2 . Apply the 80/20 rule

As a reader of Addicted2Success, you’ve probably heard of Pareto’s Law. It was a concept developed by an Italian economist, Vilfredo Pareto, which explains that 80% of your desired outputs will come from only 20% of your inputs.

While the exact ratio varies from situation to situation, you’ll find that:

  • 20% of people in your life will lead to 80% of your happiness
  • 20% of your customers will drive 80% of your sales
  • 20% of your learning methods will lead to 80% of your results

When it comes to learning, it feels like there’s so much we don’t know, so it’s easy to jump around everywhere. This will only lead to wasted time. What you want to do is focus on the one or two things that will drive the needle for what you want to achieve, and double down on them.

For example, if you’re learning Spanish to travel this summer, instead of learning how to write or read, you should learn how to speak Spanish. Or instead of trying to please a dissatisfied customer that’s only paying you $37/month, you should add 10x more value to a customer that’s paying you $1,000/month.

3 . Learn by doing

Immersion is by far the best way to learn anything. And as research shows, it turns out that humans retain:

  • 5% of what they learn when they’ve learned from a lecture.
  • 10% of what they learn when they’ve learned from reading.
  • 20% of what they learn from audio-visual.
  • 30% of what they learn when they see a demonstration.
  • 50% of what they learn when engaged in a group discussion.
  • 75% of what they learn when they practice what they learned.
  • 90% of what they learn when they use immediately.

Think back to how you learned to play basketball, ride a bicycle, or swim. Instead of watching tutorial videos or reading a textbook on how to do something, the way to learn faster is to get into the trenches and gain experience through mistakes.

4 . Find a coach

From business titans to professional athletes, the people performing at the highest level all have one thing in common. They have a coach.

According to best-selling author, Seth Godin, there are five reasons you might quit in anything you do:

  1. You run out of time (and quit)
  2. You run out of money (and quit)
  3. You get scared (and quit)
  4. You’re not serious about it (and quit)
  5. You lose interest (and quit)

Having a coach allows you to see the blind spots that you couldn’t see before, and guide you through the tough times that inevitably comes when you’re learning anything new.

A coach doesn’t have to cost $1M a year, like what Tony Robbins charges, or even $1,000. If you’re trying to learn a language, you could have a language coach you work with. If you’re trying to learn an instrument, it could be finding a private teacher to help you.

The point is, you’re not going at it alone. And having someone that’s keeping you accountable can take you miles further than doing everything yourself.

5 . Process over performance

Doing the work is often the hardest thing for most people. A common mistake people make when they’re learning something new is to focus on performance over process. It’s hard to see any consistent results until you have put in a significant amount of work upfront.

For writers, this is sitting down and writing 500-words a day, no matter how bad it may turn out. For athletes, this is waking up every morning and training, no matter how groggy and sore you feel. For language learners, it’s forcing yourself to speak the language everyday, no matter how many mistakes you make or how uncomfortable you may feel.

“Seventy percent of success in life is showing up.” — Woody Allen

Taking small steps may not sound sexy, but it has been the proven path to follow for anything you’ll want to achieve in your life and business.

As a professional, we are going to give us five amazing tips on how to learn faster and I hope you guys enjoy every single. One of us is whichever learning something new at the instant or is planning to do in the future, who is playing an instrument learning a second language drawing or maybe learning how to code in the past, as you must be depended on CIPD level 5 assignment help learning new things they had to learn more effective ways to hunt and learn how to make better tools. So they can have an advanced chance of survival we see that learning has always been a vital part of our lives. Therefore it comes naturally that we spend some time learning how to learn effectively with these five tips that you can use to lap your competition and leave your friends wondering how you learn so fast.

Deconstruct the Skill and Use the Pareto Principal

Number one critique the skill and appliance the 8020 principle it is a concept developed by Italian economist Vilfredo Pareto which explains that “80% of your preferred outputs will come from only 20% of your contributions” well the precise ratio of varies from situation to the situation you`ll find that 20% of people in your life will lead to 80% of your happiness 20% of your clients will initiative 80 percent of your sales and 20 percent of your learning procedures will lead to 80% of your results. When it comes to information it feels like there`s so much we don`t know so it`s easy to jump around everywhere this will only lead to misused time what you want to do in its place is to focus on one or two things that will determine the central for what you want to achieve and devote most of your time working those things for example if you want to learn how to play the guitar instead of focusing on strumming patterns notes on the fretboard hammer-on pull-off techniques you should only focus on learning something new the basic chords and evolutions between them because that will give you 80% of the results and in 20% of the time you`ll be able to play the songs you wanted.

Have Laser-like Focus and Use the Pomodoro Technique

Number two has a laser-like focus and uses the Pomodoro Technique to study quickly it`ll be significant to obligate your full focus and attention. When you`re investigating and practicing your skill these days that`s easier said than done thanks to our short consideration spans and constantly energetic dissertation writing service devices to help you stay focused. Start using the Pomodoro technique consists of shutting down all external interferences and fully focusing on the task for a short period usually 20 to 25 minutes and then attractive a short break of one to five minutes. I`ve learned coding from scratch in four months by using this principle my daily schedule was 12 Commodore sessions each expenditure around 25 minutes of emphasis on State and five minutes of rest. After every four sessions I would take a longer break the Pomodoro Technique produces astounding results because our brain is more receptive to new information when we`re focused when you look at it it`s principally common sense more focused on steeper connections.

Learn By Doing

Learn by doing involvement is by far the best way to acquire anything. As research shows it turns out that humans engaged 10% of what they learned from reading twenty percent of what I learned from audio-visual 50% of what alert when they see a procession up to 70 percent of what they learn when they rehearsal what they learned and up to 90 percent of what they learn when they use it immediately. Try to remember how you learned to play soccer ride a bicycle or swim instead of watching lessons or reading a textbook on how to do something the way to learn faster is to get your hands dirty and gain involvement through making mistakes.

Be Persistent

Number four be tenacious inappropriately many of us give up before or during what Seth Godin calls the dip Gordon says that though it`s significant to know when to quit many potential winners don`t reach success because they quit before the dip rendering to Gordon five reasons you might fail to follow through are you run out of time and quit your run out of money and quit you get frightened and quit you`re not serious about it then quit or you lose interest and quit psychologists have also studied what`s known as the evolution cycle when we experience d assignment writing service the occasion to learn something new we enter what many people call the honeymoon phase this is where we acquaintance releases is to experience new clothes. In other words, we`re hardwired to appreciate and seek out innovation because it makes us feel good once the honeymoon phase is over we experience the dip and our development initiates to Plateau or diminish this is when most of us quit the reason why this is significant is that if you can predict the dip is coming when you`re learning something new it`s calmer to fight through it because you know deep happens and it only lasts it`s provisional.

Get Enough Sleep

Get enough sleep plays a big role in our ability to learn new information and skills when we awake new circumstances and stimuli can prevent new memories from consolidating in our minds. But when we are asleep we`re better at generating new memories one study from a German research lab found that sleep helps our memory formation most if you know you will need the information later in fact some scientists consider the brain can change its structure and organization.

Brain Plasticity Theory

This is a theory called the brain plasticity theory and it proposes those all-important structural and organizational changes in our brain take place when we are asleep without adequate sleep we have a hard time learning something new because our brain doesn`t have the chance to review CV writing help UK and absorb the new information when you get enough sleep while you`re learning a new skill you`ll be able to combine those memories faster and make fewer mistakes overall.

In A Nutshell

So to recap break down the skill and use the Pareto principle practice the 20% that will give you 80% of the results focus deeply when practicing the skill and use multiple Pomodoro sessions learn by plunging yourself and doing the skill you`re learning watching or reading is not enough be persistent and follow through the deep where the mainstream of people will quit and finally get adequate sleep to help your brain store all the information and prepare you for the day ahead leave a like below.

How to learn anything fast take these 5 powerful steps

Nov 6, 2018 · 16 min read

Updated: December 2020

8 hours? Are you kidding me? It takes 10,000 hours to learn a new skill!

10,000 hours of deliberate practice is the amount of time it takes to be a top performer in a highly competitive field, according to Malcolm Gladwell in his book, Outliers.

In the past 2 years, I’ve proven time and again that you can learn valuable soft and hard skills in about 15 to 20 hours of practice. And I’m talking about starting from nothing. I’ve learned 70 new skills in the past 2 years. But I’m not the only one who has experimented with that. My original inspiration came from Josh Kaufman’s TEDx talk, The First 20 Hours — How to Learn Anything.

Bill Gates, Jeff Bezos, Elon Musk, Warren Buffett, Barack Obama, Oprah, and many more top performers dedicate a lot of their time to learning a variety of skills that allowed them to be where they are today. All of them have achieved much because of what they’ve learned and what they know. They are not more intelligent, they just dedicate more of their time to learning the most valuable skills.

I was very careful in choosing skills that are as applicable today as they will be years from now. The skills that follow were useful or would have been useful thousands of years ago as well.

Each of these skills can be learned to a level in which you can be good enough in it in under 8 hours of practice — one full workday!

But be careful, practicing any skill for long hours will not yield the results you expect. Your brain doesn’t assimilate new knowledge that way.

The first skill in the list is the basis of every other skill you’re going to learn for the rest of your life. It’s no surprise then that I listed it as the #1 skill to learn to thrive in 2019.

Do you want to change your life forever?

Start with the following skills, in no particular order, except for the first one:

  • Learning to learn
  • Writing
  • Public speaking
  • Meditation
  • Forming good habits
  • Negotiation
  • Mathematical thinking
  • Coordination and flexibility

How to learn anything fast take these 5 powerful steps

When I started my journey to learning, I was slightly disorganized and didn’t fully understand what I was getting into. With practice, I understood the importance of knowing how our brain truly works. Today, learning anything new isn’t as hard as it used to be.

Just this month, I’m learning how to write a book in Spanish, composing epic music (starting from zero knowledge in music), developing backends in the Go language, and salsa dancing (again, starting from zero knowledge of dancing).

If that sounds overwhelming to you, it should, at least for now.

And it may seem to you that I’m spending 100% of my time learning these skills, but the truth is that I’m only just practicing 30 minutes each every day. In 15 hours of deliberate practice, I’ll be able to do each of these where I’ll be confident enough to say I’ve acquired a skill.

The reason I’m able to do that is that I’ve learned how to learn. Here’s how you can do this too:

How do I learn it?

It would take a whole book to teach you how to learn. To keep this article at a respectable length, I’ll refer you to this other story I wrote which details the keys aspects of learning to learn:

The first 8 hours:

Watch 30 minutes of the Learning to Learn class on 2x speed for 16 days.

How can it change my life?

Learning new skills increases your motivation, makes you more adaptable, relatable, interesting, and helps you get better jobs and earn more money.

Just yesterday, I led a workshop where every member learned to create an online store and made money on that very same day! Who would have thought that it’s something I would have taught someday in my life!

But it’s not just me. One of the most inspiring members of my SkillUp your Life program, Prithviraj, learned to swim and that led to him getting a new awesome job, greatly increasing his salary and improving the lives of his parents and other people surrounding him.

Forget the “10,000 hour rule”. what if it’s possible to learn any new skill in 20 hours or less?

Take a moment to consider how many things you want to learn to do. What’s on your list? What’s holding you back from getting started? Are you worried about the time and effort it takes to acquire new skills – time you don’t have and effort you can’t spare?

Research suggests it takes 10,000 hours to develop a new skill to mastery. In this nonstop world, who has that kind of time?

To make matters worse, the early hours of practicing something new are always the most frustrating. That’s why it’s difficult to learn how to speak a new language, play an instrument, hit a golf ball, or shoot great photos. It’s so much easier to watch TV or surf the web…

In The First 20 Hours, Josh Kaufman offers a systematic approach to rapid skill acquisition: how to learn any new skill as quickly as possible. His method shows you how to deconstruct complex skills, maximize productive practice, and remove common learning barriers. By completing just 20 hours of focused, deliberate practice you’ll go from knowing absolutely nothing to performing noticeably well.

This method isn’t theoretical: it’s field-tested. Kaufman invites readers to join him as he field tests his approach by learning to program a Web application, play the ukulele, practice yoga, re-learn to touch type, get the hang of windsurfing, and study the world’s oldest and most complex board game.

How to learn anything fast take these 5 powerful steps

I’ve trained with some of the best coaches on the planet during my 20-year sports career, and again when I competed in the 2008 Olympics.

But when I wanted to start my own company, to share my knowledge about motivational psychology and training with others, it wasn’t as easy as I’d thought it would be.

Launching a new business is not easy. You have to give up the comforts of a stable paycheck to delve into the unknown, an unpredictable abyss. A lot of things keep us from making the leap—things like fear and insecurity. And one thing above all the rest: motivation.

When I looked back on my days as an athlete, I understood what was different. I remembered what (or who) made me push myself even when I didn’t want to. The difference was, as an athlete, I had structured days and a coach to report to. Structure keeps us focused and a coach keeps pushing and challenging us.

Thankfully I passed this stage and I founded Onbotraining, an online coaching service that helps people achieve their goals. I decided to collect the lessons I’ve learned along the way and to share them with others, like you, striving to better themselves.

So here are my 10 best tips for achieving anything you want in life.

1. Focus on commitment, not motivation.

Just how committed are you to your goal? How important is it for you, and what are you willing to sacrifice in order to achieve it? If you find yourself fully committed, motivation will follow.

2. Seek knowledge, not results.

If you focus on the excitement of discovery, improving, exploring and experimenting, your motivation will always be fueled. If you focus only on results, your motivation will be like weather—it will die the minute you hit a storm. So the key is to focus on the journey, not the destination. Keep thinking about what you are learning along the way and what you can improve.

3. Make the journey fun.

It’s an awesome game! The minute you make it serious, there’s a big chance it will start carrying a heavy emotional weight and you will lose perspective and become stuck again.

4. Get rid of stagnating thoughts.

Thoughts influence feelings and feelings determine how you view your work. You have a lot of thoughts in your head, and you always have a choice of which ones to focus on: the ones that will make you emotionally stuck (fears, doubts) or the ones that will move you forward (excitement, experimenting, trying new things, stepping out of your comfort zone).

5. Use your imagination.

Next step after getting rid of negative thoughts is to use your imagination. When things go well, you are full of positive energy, and when you are experiencing difficulties, you need to be even more energetic. So rename your situation. If you keep repeating I hate my work, guess which feelings those words will evoke? It’s a matter of imagination! You can always find something to learn even from the worst boss in the world at the most boring job. I have a great exercise for you: Just for three days, think and say positive things only. See what happens.

6. Stop being nice to yourself.

Motivation means action and action brings results. Sometimes your actions fail to bring the results you want. So you prefer to be nice to yourself and not put yourself in a difficult situation. You wait for the perfect timing, for an opportunity, while you drive yourself into stagnation and sometimes even into depression. Get out there, challenge yourself, do something that you want to do even if you are afraid.

7. Get rid of distractions.

Meaningless things and distractions will always be in your way, especially those easy, usual things you would rather do instead of focusing on new challenging and meaningful projects. Learn to focus on what is the most important. Write a list of time-wasters and hold yourself accountable to not do them.

8. Don’t rely on others.

You should never expect others to do it for you, not even your partner, friend or boss. They are all busy with their own needs. No one will make you happy or achieve your goals for you. It’s all on you.

9. Plan.

Know your three steps forward. You do not need more. Fill out your weekly calendar, noting when you will do what and how. When-what-how is important to schedule. Review how each day went by what you learned and revise what you could improve.

10. Protect yourself from burnout.

It’s easy to burn out when you are very motivated. Observe yourself to recognize any signs of tiredness and take time to rest. Your body and mind rest when you schedule relaxation and fun time into your weekly calendar. Do diverse tasks, keep switching between something creative and logical, something physical and still, working alone and with a team. Switch locations. Meditate, or just take deep breaths, close your eyes, or focus on one thing for five minutes.

You lack motivation not because you are lazy or don’t have a goal. Even the biggest stars, richest businesspeople or the most accomplished athletes get lost sometimes. What makes them motivated is the curiosity about how much better or faster they can get. So above all, be curious, and this will lead you to your goals and success.

Anybody who wants to cast spells always enjoys the power to affect objects over large distances. In this world which is forever becoming more connected, more and more spell casters want to be able to work with people in different parts of the world. This is the reason why spells such as telekinetic spells have become some of the most sorts after.

Before I can delve into what telekinetic spells are really all about and discuss other issues like telekinesis spells Skyrim, it is important for me to discuss the reason why spellcasters need to have the ability to use a spell to move objects. This ability is important because in the days and times in which we live, the world has become greatly connected and people helping others to cast spells find themselves having to work with people in different parts of the world.

Table of Contents

What are telekinetic spells?

As I have already indicated, telekinetic spells are a group of spells that allow you to have an effect over objects that are far away from where you physically are. As you may well have already guessed, it takes a strong spellcaster to achieve this in a successful manner. Those who master the power of telekinetic spells have the ability to manipulate the object using their brain.

How to learn anything fast take these 5 powerful stepsWhat are telekinetic spells

The one reason why I love these spells is that they generally do not have a lot of negative effects. For example, if you attempt to cast a few spells to lift objects and the first attempt doesn’t work, there is nothing which stops you from giving it another try.

Of course like all other spells like telekinetic spells, if you use the spell to attempt to use objects in distant places to hurt someone who is well protected, it is easy for you to end up with a spell that will produce results that are not so desirable for you.

How to get telekinesis powers fast

So, now you know what telekinetic spells are all about, and you are asking yourself how to get telekinesis powers fast. I don’t want to promise you something which is not possible by saying that there is a real easy way of getting these powers.

How to learn anything fast take these 5 powerful stepsHow to get telekinesis powers fast

Just like any spells like fire spells, in order to have the ability to use a particular telekinetic spells, you will have to spend some time understanding what these spells are all about. You will also have to find a good spell caster who is going to guide you through it all. Hence, I would advise that the fasted way through which you can get to be able to do these types of spells is finding a person who can assist you and starting to learn as soon as you possibly can.

The steps to telekinesis

With the above being said, I can still tell you that there are certain steps that anybody who wants to perform telekinetic spells can follow in order to learn this great and sort after skill. To be able to do that, you have to do the following:

1. Believe that telekinesis is possible. This is because anyone who wants to use the magic of a powerful telekinetic spells you need to start from the belief that this is indeed possible.

2. Have the belief that you as a person you have the power to perform the telekinetic spells. Just believing that the spell is possible but then not having the belief that you can do it yourself makes it impossible to use this power.

3. If you are working with a spell caster helping you to cast these spells, you have to trust that they know what they are doing. You will show this by following all the instructions, and they give you as you perform the magic.

4. Create a positive attitude. This involves never using any magic for motives which are ulterior. By this, I mean that you should never want to get magic with the intention of hurting others. Magic can be very dangerous when it backfires on you and the bad intentions you had on others finally happen to you.

Learn Pyrokinesis ( Telekinetic Spells )

You can learn a lot about spells to move things without touching them. One of the common ways of doing this telekinetic spells is through a process known as Pyrokinesis. This refers to the supposed ability of a person to use the mind to control a fire. Even though many people dismiss this on the pretext that there is no conclusive evidence that this is possible, many people who know how to use the superpower spells that work instantly will tell you that this is indeed possible.

How to learn anything fast take these 5 powerful stepsLearn Pyrokinesis

Those people who do not believe that this is possible to argue so based on their own lack of belief in their own ability, they believe that no one else will be able to. This is the reason why we advise people using any telekinetic spells that they should start by cultivating the belief.

“Positive thinking makes us aware of the fact that our problems never had a life of their own. They were kept alive by our fixations, intense focus and the incredible amounts of energy we allocated to them.”

The way we think influences the way we feel. And the way we feel determines the quality of all our actions and behaviors. If the thoughts we think are healthy, empowering, and positive, so will our lives be.

8 Powerful Steps To Positive Thinking

1. Positive thinking is all about focusing on what you want, not on what you don’t want.

The mistake a lot of people make is to talk about their problems and frustrations over and over again. Instead of focusing on the end result and all the delicious things they want to have and achieve in their lives, they give all their energy and attention to what they don’t want. Therefore, they create more of what they focus on – problems and headaches.

If you want to develop a positive mindset, you have to train your mind to stay away from that which bothers you and focus onto that which you love and want to have happened in your life. In doing so, not only will you create a healthier mind, but also happier life.

2. Know that every problem comes with a lesson.

There is always a lesson in everything that happens to us. If you want to improve the quality of your thinking and create a more positive and optimistic way of living, it will be wise to look for the lessons in everything that happens to you and learn from them. In doing so, you will discover that nothing in life happens To you, it happens For you.

3. To develop your positive thinking, don’t believe everything you think.

We think somewhere between 60,000 to 70,000 thoughts each day, most of which are random, toxic, negative, and self-destructive. And if we fall into the trap of believing every one of these thoughts, chances are that we will lose our minds in the end.

Observe your mind. Observe your thoughts. But be wise enough not to identify yourself with your thoughts, especially if they are toxic and self-destructive. Always remember that you are not your mind. You are not your thoughts. You are the Awareness behind these thoughts.

4. Embrace an attitude of gratitude.

A great way to develop positive thinking is to express your gratitude for everything that happens to you and all around you by keeping a gratitude journal. In writing down the things you are thankful for, you build the healthy habit of looking for things to appreciate about yourself and your life. And when you taste the joy of being grateful, you will no longer want to waste your time and energy on stressful, chaotic, and painful thoughts, people and experiences.

5. Boost your positive thinking by letting go of your need for perfection.

It is impossible to achieve perfection. In fact, it was Voltaire who affirmed that perfect is the enemy of good. Perfection leaves no room for improvement, So why hurt yourself trying to be perfect?

When you try to do everything perfectly, overanalyzing and allowing your sneaky fearful thoughts to guide you and your actions, your body goes into survival mode. And when your body is in survival mode, you can’t really create ‘perfection’, only more pain and frustration.

6. Know that there Is a reason for everything.

Make peace with this idea that everything in life happens for a reason, that it all happens For you, not To you. And in doing so, the thoughts that will run through your mind and the feelings you will feel in your body will no longer be infused with fear, doubt, panic, and anxiety, but rather with faith, love, and surrender.

7. To boost your positive thinking, let go of your resistance.

Resistance is one of the greatest enemies of positive thinking. When you resist yourself, your life, and the whole world, you bring chaos to your mind and disease to your body; your thoughts become chaotic and your body starts to respond to all those unhealthy thoughts by creating imbalances and all kinds of pains and diseases.

When you allow yourself to just be – to go with the flow, no longer against it, to let go of the resistance and return from chaos to balance, order, and harmony, you discover that life was never meant to be a struggle and that your thoughts were never intended to be the master of your life, You were!

8. Learn to be present in everything you do.

Leave the past in the past and the future in the future. Choose to be present here and now.

If you get too caught up in your mind, if you think too much about what happened in the past and what may happen in the future, chances are that you will create a great deal of pain and suffering. And the energy you will generate (which by the way, is contagious) will be a toxic and damaging one – for yourself and those you love.

Your life is here and now, right in front of your eyes. Don’t run away from it. Acknowledge it. Make peace with it. Welcome it. Engage in it. And in doing so, you will go from feeling like a victim of your thoughts, feelings, and behaviors, to realizing that you are a powerful creator and the master of your own life.

And these are the 8 steps to positive thinking. I hope they will inspire you to let go of all your unhealthy and self-defeating thoughts. And I hope they will empower you to discipline your mind into thinking and embracing only those thoughts that are life-giving and self-empowering.
