It helps you when you want to focus on anything and want to tune yourself to get yourself out of this world, and then this product can cancel a big amount of noise around you which you can keep ON and OFF according to your need.

All audio control will still work with windows, and it’s not compulsory to have an Apple device at another end. For example, clicking on the AirPod will pause and play the music, clicking 2 or 3 times forward and backward, and holding AirPods can switch On and Off the ANC mode.

Audio quality is also a big perk while using AirPods with a PC. The regular AirPods are okay in terms of music experience, but there are 5 stars for AirPods Pro.

Battery life is also an advantage if you are an AirPod user. The battery life of AirPods is good and can last longer when you connect AirPods to PC.

Besides all these perks, people also like the Build and Look of AirPods. Everyone used to talk about it when they were newly launched. Now AirPods are common and also is a “status symbol,” it’s true, and that’s worth it.

With windows, you can use only the basic features of AirPods. AirPods will not work to their full potential, and there are also more features that AirPods offers.

Price is a big disadvantage because you can get Microsoft’s Surface Earbuds and Google’s Pixel Buds. Both have some perk’s that you can not get with AirPods. Some also give preference to them look wise also. And also touch control are also better in Google Pixel Buds and Microsoft’s Surface EarBuds.

Wearing AirPods and keeping them in ear’s while working or jogging is tricky. AirPods fall off easily. But on the other hand, Google Pixel Buds and Microsoft’s Surface EarBuds are easy to handle and comfortable to wear compared to AirPods.

AirPods are build in a way that they can work best with Apple devices. You can face issues if you are using it with windows or any other device other than Apple. For example, Automatic ear detection, Automatic pairing. Music will not automatically pause when you take AirPods out from your ears.

Music controls are features that we can’t miss here. You can have only basic controls. You can miss a lot of features like Siri access.

AirPods Max work with Android and Windows devices, too.

It’s possible to pair and use AirPods Max with non-Apple devices. All you need is a Bluetooth connection. The setup process is slightly different, but not too difficult. We’ll show you all you need to know in this quick guide.

AirPods Max work just like any other wireless headphones with Android, Windows, and other third-party devices. Some features get lost, like Siri and certain listening modes, but you can still enjoy your music.

When you pair AirPods Max with a non-Apple device, however, you will need to follow a different pairing process.

Use AirPods Max with third-party devices

These are the steps you need to follow:

  1. Put your AirPods Max into pairing mode by pressing and holding down the noise control button (on the right ear cup) until their status light begins flashing white.
  2. Head into the Bluetooth settings on your non-Apple device. Ensure that Bluetooth is enabled and wait for AirPods Max to appear in the list of available devices.
  3. Select AirPods Max to pair the two devices.

It’s as easy as that. You can now start listening to music, movies, and more with your AirPods Max. If for any reason your two devices become disconnected later, simply repeat the above steps to reconnect them.

Features you’ll lose when using AirPods Max with a non-Apple device include Transparency mode and active noise cancellation. However, aside from these things, they’ll function just like any other wireless headphones.

You can also use the same process to connect AirPods and AirPods Pro to third-party devices. And if you want to connect to a device that doesn’t have Bluetooth as standard, we have a guide for that, too.

Apple’s AirPods are designed for use with other Apple products, but that doesn’t mean you can’t use them with your Windows PC. Pairing AirPods with a PC for the first time isn’t exactly intuitive at first, because you have to use the charging case along with the AirPods, but it’s easy once you know the process.

How to pair AirPods with a Windows device

To pair and connect a new pair of Apple AirPods with your PC, just follow these simple steps:

  1. Insert AirPods into their charging case, and make sure they’re at least partially charged.
  2. Open the lid of your AirPod charging case (do not remove AirPods from the case).
  3. Tap and hold the circular button on the rear side of charging case for a couple of seconds, until the light inside the case blinks white.

Open your Windows PC’s Bluetooth settings by clicking the Bluetooth icon in the system tray all the way to the right of your taskbask, or by searching for “Bluetooth” in your taskbar search field and clicking the “Bluetooth and other devices settings” option when it appears.

On the next “Add a device” page, click the top option for Bluetooth.

Click the AirPods option from the list of discoverable devices.

After a few seconds, you should see a connection confirmation screen once your AirPods and PC are paired and connected.

  • Note: If you get a connection error, close your AirPods case and your PC’s Bluetooth settings, and repeat the process above.
    1. Remove AirPods from their case.
    2. Stick them in your ears, and you’re good to go.

Connecting AirPods to a PC is just as easy as connecting any other Bluetooth device. And when you’re ready to disconnect them, just put your AirPods back in their charging case and close the lid.

How to reconnect paired AirPods and a Windows PC

Your AirPods should automatically connect to your PC after a few seconds every time you remove them from your charging case. But if for some reason they don’t, you can easily reconnect them by following these easy steps:

Open your Windows PC’s Bluetooth settings by clicking the Bluetooth icon in the system tray all the way to the right of your taskbask, or by searching for “Bluetooth” in your taskbar search field and clicking the “Bluetooth and other devices settings” option when it appears.

Scroll down to the Audio section under the “Bluetooth and other devices” list, and click on the AirPods listing.

Click Connect to reconnect your AirPods and PC.

You’ll hear an audio confirmation if you’re wearing your AirPods, and your Bluetooth settings screen will read “Connected voice, music” beneath AirPods listing.

If for some reason your AirPods still won’t reconnect, insert them back into their case, close your Windows Bluetooth settings and repeat this above process. If you’re still having issues repeat this process, but on Step No. 4 choose “remove” to unpair you AirPods and then begin the pairing process detailed above once more.

Why Won’t My Lenovo Laptop Recognize My Airpods?

If your Lenovo laptop doesn’t recognize your AirPods, there are some different reasons to blame. Here’s a look at some of the most effective fixes.

  • Turn it off and back on again. Try switching your Lenovo laptop off and back on again. Doing this often fixes the simplest of problems, including pairing issues.
  • Check your AirPods are in pairing mode. Check your AirPods are in pairing mode and you are holding down the setup/pairing button correctly. Try opening the lid of the charging case to encourage it.
  • Unpair and repair the AirPods. If your AirPods worked previously and are still on the list of Bluetooth devices on your Lenovo laptop, try unpairing them and pairing them again.
  • Keep other devices away. Sometimes, having your previously paired devices nearby can interrupt the connection, particularly with Apple devices. Keep them physically apart to ensure it works.
  • Update your AirPods. If your AirPods don’t pair with your Lenovo laptop, try updating them via your iPhone or iPad. A firmware update often fixes issues.

On your Mac, select the Apple icon > System Preferences > Bluetooth > Turn Bluetooth On. Then open the AirPods case and press the button on the back to put the AirPods in pairing mode. Select the earbuds when they appear in the Bluetooth preferences window to connect the AirPods to your Mac.

To connect AirPods to Android devices, ensure Bluetooth is on from Settings > Bluetooth. Press the pairing button on the AirPods case.
