How to play two players on psp

This topic is locked from further discussion.

what psp games allows you to have 2 players play a game on 1 psp with split screen like ape escape academy?(u can do it on the demo with the bananas). miguelramirez

are you talking about gamesharing?

are you talking about ad hoc where you have different psps but playing together musicman748

no 2 players on one psp,one player is holding one side of the psp using the analog stick and an other using the R button holding the other side of the psp like in the ape escape academy demo.

Puyo Pop Fever. is one I can think of. It’s real fun!! and annoying sometimes since your PSP has to be tilted 90 degrees and split screen tho so the whole thing is so small and kinda cramped.

Does it have to be real time? or turn based? I am pretty sure I’ve SEEN the OPTION to play it but forgot which game it was. I’ll give you a shout when I do remember something.

While in the pod, turn on the second controller. That’s all. 2players on one ps3 can go online too. drcsyntax

I tried that, and it did not work. Do I have to create another sackboy, or complete a certain level?

. While in the pod, turn on the second controller, give the game some time to load; and another SackBoy should fall through the ceiling into your pod. I did this all day with my gf yesterday. If you turn off the second controller the SackBoy will pop and disappear.

For a failsafe just beat the first level?

The second player will be a “guest” on the first players account from the PS3.

Be weary, it does take some time to load sometimes.

How do you invite one of your friends to play with you? I can’t figure it out. it seems like it’s random or something. Any help would be. uhhh. helpful;) Gesyma

I think it is random, but you can heart people; which lets you track the mand join their games quickly. Try making a small level and getting your friend to join it, then heart each other.

ingame you turn on the 2nd controller near a save area in the level the other sackboy will appear from the circle

If your friend is in you PSN friends list and is currently playing LBP it is simple. There are two ways to do it. While in your pod go to the planet on the left and select friends. You will htne be presented with a list of your friends. Highlight the friend you want to play with and press “x”. you can then choose to “invite” which means your firend will be asked to join you in your pod and you will host the game or you can choose to “join” in which case you will send a request to join your friend in their pod or the level they are currently playing and they will be the host. This same operation can be done in game at any point by pressing “Start” and selecting friends from the list and following the same procedure outlined above.

If your friend is not playing LBP then the best thing to do is send an invite through the cross media bar (XMB).

With PSP Go, yes.
One plays with the Go, one with a blue-tooth PS3 controller.

Other PSPs, not sure, dont think so.

Your IP address has been temporarily blocked due to a large number of HTTP requests. The most common causes of this issue are:

  • If you are using Maxthon or Brave as a browser, or have installed the Ghostery add-on, you should know that these programs send extra traffic to our servers for every page on the site that you browse. Using GameFAQs regularly with these browsers can cause temporary and even permanent IP blocks due to these additional requests.
  • Some unofficial phone apps appear to be using GameFAQs as a back-end, but they do not behave like a real web browser does. This triggers our anti-spambot measures, which are designed to stop automated systems from flooding the site with traffic. Continued use of these apps may cause your IP to be blocked indefinitely. There is no official GameFAQs app, and we do not support nor have any contact with the makers of these unofficial apps.
  • Using a script or add-on that scans GameFAQs for box and screen images (such as an emulator front-end), while overloading our search engine
  • Running a “scraper” or “downloader” program that either does not identify itself or uses fake headers to elude detection
  • Using a badly configured (or badly written) browser add-on for blocking content
  • Overusing our search engine with a very large number of searches in a very short amount of time

If you promise to stop (by clicking the Agree button below), we’ll unblock your connection for now, but we will immediately re-block it if we detect additional bad behavior.

If you do not understand what is causing this behavior, please contact us here.

How to Turn Off DHCP on Your PS3

The Sony PlayStation Portable (PSP) is designed to be used at almost any Internet Wi-Fi spot, so connecting it to the Internet through public hotspots is simple. Although you may encounter some difficulty if you have a weak signal, for the most part, the PSP’s Internet connection is almost automatic, and the device handles most of the difficult connection settings on its own.

Make sure you are in an area with Wi-Fi access. Most public locations will have a sign indicating this.

Turn on the PSP with no Universal Media Discs in the disk drive. Wait for the main menu to appear.

Push the Wi-Fi switch on the top edge of the PSP to the right. This will turn on the PSP’s Wi-Fi capabilities.

Choose “Network Settings” on your PSP by navigating all the way to the left. Choose “Infrastructure Mode,” then “New Connection,” then “Scan.” Choose the connection with the highest connection percentage (it will be at the top of the list), and press “X.” At each of the following menu options, press the “X” button to choose the default setting. Unless you want to customize your settings, you will not need to alter any of the settings the PSP chooses for you.

Give your connection a name in the final screen so your PSP will remember the settings for future use. Then choose “Test Connection.” If you get a “Successful” message, you can proceed to the Internet.

Repeat Steps 4 and 5 if you have a slow or weak connection, and choose a different hotspot if one is available.

You can save your hotspot location settings if you are in a specific location fairly often. Then you can simply choose a connection from your Network Settings rather than searching for hotspots.

Epic Games has recently implemented Fortnite split screen on PS4 and Xbox One. The new feature allows two players to play on the same console with two controllers. It’s a similar setup to Star Wars: Battlefront 2, Resident Evil 6, and several games in the Call of Duty franchise.

Unfortunately, being able to play with friends using split screen isn’t available on every platform. Fortnite‘s split screen feature isn’t available on PC, Nintendo Switch, or mobile (of course).

How to do Split Screen in Fortnite

Step 1: Make a Second Account on Your Console

Before connecting a second controller, make sure that you have more than one account available on your console. If you have only one account, then split screen won’t work.

Here’s how you can create a new account on PS4:

  1. Press the Power button
  2. Select Switch User
  3. Choose New User
  4. Enter any name and password
  5. Confirm new user

Here’s how you can create a new account on Xbox One:

  1. Press the user profile icon in the top left corner of your console’s main menu
  2. Select Add New
  3. Choose Get a New e-mail Address
  4. Enter any other e-mail address and confirm
  5. Enter any name and password
  6. Enter your log-in name
  7. Confirm the terms of use

Step 2: Connect a Second Controller

After you’ve created a new account, you can connect a second controller to your console. We assume you already know how to do this.

Step 3: Enter the Lobby

When you enter the Fortnite lobby, you will see a hint at the bottom of the screen suggesting that you connect another player to your game by pressing “X” on PS4 and “A” on Xbox One.

When you press the correct button, Fortnite will ask you to log-in as another user. Now select the new account you created prior to this step.

Another player should now appear in the lobby. You may press “X” on PS4 and “A” on Xbox One if you want to give another player control of the menu, the landing target, and cosmetics.

That’s it on how to do split screen in Fortnite on PS4 and Xbox One. For more Fortnite guides, check out the list below:

Is there anyway to activate Progressive Scan(480p) in the PS2 version of LEGO STAR WARS™ II: The Original Trilogy?

No, the PS2 version does not support 480P.

I am having issues with my PlayStation PSP game (black screen, freezing, game not loading, etc.).

  1. Inspect your UMD for dirt, dust or damage. Also, inspect the compartment where the UMD is inserted for damage.
  2. Restart the PSP and see if the same issue occurs.
  3. Ensure that the PSP battery pack is fully charged. Use the power cord is your suspect that the battery pack may not be supplying sufficient power.
  4. Make certain that the PSP’s backlight is not turned off. Find the backlight button located directly to the right of the PSP(tm) logo on the front of the system. If it appears that the backlight is off, hold down the backlight button for 2 seconds to turn the screen on.
  5. Make certain that the PSP is not in sleep mode. Sleep mode is engaged when sliding the Power button upward quickly. If it is in sleep mode, push the Power button upward again to toggle this feature off.
  6. Try the UMD in another PSP. If the game works properly in another system, the problem may rest with your PlayStation PSP. In such a case, contact PlayStation for more information. If the game still does not work in another system, it is likely a problem with the UMD. Consider exchanging the game with the original place of purchase.
  7. Ensure that the PSP is not in Hold Mode. When the PSP is in hold mode, the system buttons are locked and do not function. Hold mode is engaged when the power/hold switch is moved completely down. To clear Hold Mode, slide the power/hold switch upward (not so much as the system may go into Sleep Mode).
  8. For technical assistance with the PlayStation PSP in the U.S. & Canada, please contact SCEA Consumer Service at 1-800-345-SONY.

Does the PSP version of LEGO STAR WARS™ II: The Original Trilogy have game sharing support?

The game does not have “Game Sharing” support for the PSP version.

How do I setup Co-op mode for Lego STAR WARS™ II: The Original Trilogy for PSP?

First, you have to make sure both PSP’s are configured in Ad Hoc mode, and that the Wlan switch is ON. Make sure you are both using the same channel for Ad hoc mode. You approach the bar stools to the left of the main bar, once the “create game” option appears, press the X button. You will see the text “Accessing network” on your screen. At that point, the other player would do the same (approach the bar stools, and choose Join game).

I’ve unlocked characters in the PSP version of LEGO STAR WARS™ II: The Original Trilogy, but I don’t see them walking around in the Cantina?

Unlocked characters don’t walk around in the Cantina in the PSP version.

What version of the PSP firmware is required for LEGO STAR WARS™ II: The Original Trilogy?

LEGO STAR WARS™ II: The Original Trilogy requires version 2.71 or later of the PSP firmware. If you do not have that version, it is included on the UMD and will prompt you to install that version prior to launching the game.

How to Play Two Players on PSP

Most Fortnite leaks surrounding game updates are the result of combined data-mining efforts on the community’s part, but not in this instance. One of Epic Games’ own support pages seemingly went live early and it wasn’t long before an eager Fortnite fan snapped a screenshot and shared it online. It’s since been taken down, but the support post seemed to suggest that a Fortnite split screen mode is on the way to PS4 and Xbox One. It was right. Here’s how to access it and what modes are available.

How to play split screen in Fortnite on PS4 and Xbox One

How to Play Two Players on PSP

Fortnite split-screen is only available on PS4 and Xbox One at this time, unfortunately leaving PC, Nintendo Switch, iOS, and Android out in the cold. If you play on one of the two supported formats and have a second controller, however, you’re all set to start playing some local co-op.

The process is simple:

  • Boot up Fortnite on PS4 or Xbox One
  • Connect a second controller to your chosen console
  • On the “Play” tab of the in-game menu, note the message “[P2] LOG IN (HOLD)” in the bottom right corner
  • Using the secondary controller, either hold X on PS4 or A on Xbox One to add a second player

Once you’re all set up, you can choose to play Fortnite Battle Royale: Duos and Squads; split-screen is not supported in limited-time playlists, Solos, Creative, or Save the World. Whether or not that might change over time remains to be seen, as developer Epic hasn’t made any official announcements. Presumably, though, they’ll be interested in expanding split-screen functionality to as many modes and platforms as possible in the future.

Now that you know how to play Fortnite with your local pals, there’s no time to waste in getting them over and dominating Duos.

Two kids cooped up inside can be a recipe for disaster, so take them outdoors for some classic fun, friendly competition and learning. Keep them busy with games made for two or modify group games to accommodate your active duo.

Classic Games

Introduce your youngsters to games you played as a child 3. Draw a hopscotch on the backyard patio or play Mother May I on the grass. Play Red Light, Green Light during the day or flashlight tag at night.

Challenge your kids to find the best hiding places in a classic game of Hide and Seek or teach them how to play lawn darts with child-safe, blunt-end darts. Kids can play badminton or croquet, toss a flying disc or hone their footwork skills with a game of kickball.

Friendly Competition

Let your kiddos get a little competitive — all in good fun, of course. You can create a mini-Olympics in the backyard 6. Incorporate challenges, such as a pillowcase race, flying disc throw, egg-and-spoon race, long jump, bottle bowling, shot put with a bean bag, a javelin throw with a pool noodle and a 100-meter dash — backward on all fours. Alternatively, organize an obstacle course in the yard. Your two youngsters can ride tricycles, slide down slides, crawl through hula hoops (or hop from one to another) and jump over pool noodle hurdles.

Organize a scavenger hunt. Your two youngsters can work together to look for items you’ve hidden around the yard, or incorporate the natural landscape into the hunt and let them race to see who can find leaves, pine cones, flowers and dandelions first.

Water Play

When it’s warm outside, let your young duo cool off in the pool. They can play water tag, Marco Polo or dive for sunken treasure at the bottom of the pool. Let them paddle around on pool mats in a game of Pirate Ships where each child tries to steal the treasure — pool toys — from the other child’s mat.

To cool off without a pool, play water balloon Hide and Seek. Played just like the traditional game, but when one child finds the other, he must tag him with a water balloon to win the round. Organize a simple game of catch, but have the kids soap up their hands and toss a water balloon back and forth; the first child to break the balloon loses the round.

Thinking & Learning

Plan a treasure hunt for your children with clues leading them around the yard. Instead of competing, have them two work together to solve each clue to encourage teamwork.

In between active games, play word games with sidewalk chalk on the patio, Charades or a 20-questions-style game game where one child thinks of a living creature and the other asks yes or no questions to figure out the creature.

Encourage your children to invent their own two-player game outside to encourage imagination and creativity. For example, they can create a human board game with sidewalk chalk or build their own obstacle course from the backyard toys.

Fortnite iOS players still play, despite losing access to most of the game’s content.

on August 30, 2020 at 7:47AM PDT

There are two parallel universes within Fortnite now. One just got a new season full of Marvel superheroes like Thor, Iron Man, and Wolverine while the other is stuck in the past. Most Fortnite players have enjoyed Season 4 since it launched earlier this week–Apple and Android players have been stuck in Season 3 with limited to access to most of what the game has to offer. Despite this, they haven’t given up on the game.

“Goodbye, comrades,” said iOS player and Redditor LegoRuby360. “We will see you on the other side, someday.”

The iOS and Android version of Fortnite lost a host of features since Epic Games began feuding with Apple and Google. Mobile players can no longer utilize cross-play, the battle pass, career stats, team rumble, party royale, or tournaments. They can, however, purchase cheaper V-Bucks. And that is the primary reason why the game was removed in the first place.

On August 13, Epic Games lowered the cost of V-Bucks and introduced direct payments to the mobile versions. This let the North Carolina based studio go around Apple’s 30% cut of revenue, pushing the tech giant to remove Fortnite from the App Store altogether (Google did the same with the Google Play Store shortly after). Epic responded by suing both companies. Now Fortnite is unplayable on iOS and Android devices and players don’t know when that’ll change.

Players say that the games they hop into have more bots than before since the player base shrank after cross-play was shut off. Bots were already a big part of Fortnite’s standard modes, but mobile players can no long connect with other console players in any of the game’s modes. Cross-play is a big part of Fortnite and matches may have more computer-controlled enemies without it.

“Bland. Stuck in time with no content,” said Redditor watchmefallll when asked about how the game feels on iOS. “Just a Battle Royale with bots and angry/sad people.”

iOS and Android players still have access to higher chest spawns, Season 4 lowered the spawn rate for the glowing item receptacle, and they also still tactical shotgun that was removed in all other versions. None of the recently-unvaulted items, like the scoped assault rifle, that returned to the game are in the mobile version. Dr. Doom’s new named location, along with all the Marvel-specific map changes, are also unavailable.

The next court hearing in the case between Apple and Epic isn’t until the end of September, so it could be a while before this issue is resolved. Neither company is letting up in the fight and Fortnite players are caught in the middle. Maybe they can play another battle royale, like Fall Guys or Call of Duty: Warzone, in the meantime.

As its alternative name suggests, Spit is a card game where fast reactions are critical. In fact, Spit is rare in that the players don’t take turns in sedate fashion to follow suit in turn. Instead, each player makes the effort to play as quickly as possible, not waiting for his or her opponent.

To play Spit, you need:

One deck of cards

Keep a special deck for this game; after one session your cards may never be the same again.

The object of the game is to get rid of all your cards as quickly as possible. The dealer shuffles the cards and deals each player 26 cards.

Each player then deals out 15 of his 26 cards into a triangle — one pile with five cards, one with four, one with three, one with two, and one with a single card. These piles are called the stock piles. On each pile, you turn the top card over. That leaves you a pile of 11 cards, which you leave face-down and don’t look at. These are spit cards.

After each player sets up the spit cards and stocks, all players call out “Spit!” and turn over the top cards of their piles of 11, putting them in the middle of the table. These two cards make up the two spit piles. The slugfest is about to begin. Using only one hand (playing cards with both hands is forbidden), you attempt to get rid of the cards from your stock piles onto the spit piles before your opponent can.

You play any face-up card from your stock piles on to the spit piles. You can play a card if it’s one rank higher or one rank lower than the card on the top of the spit piles, and aces are high or low, so you can put them on a king or a 2. Suits are irrelevant in Spit.

When you exhaust a pile, you can move a face-up card from any pile to fill the gap. You can never have more than five piles, come what may.

When neither player can make a legal move, the first phase of the game has ended, and you’re ready for the second phase, which essentially repeats phase one.

In phase two, each player simultaneously calls out “Spit!” again, turning over the top cards from their spit cards face-up onto the already existing spit piles. The game continues, with both players trying to get rid of their stock piles as fast as possible. Eventually, one of three situations occurs:

You get rid of all your stock cards. When this happens, you have your choice of spit piles, and you’ll naturally take the smaller one. The second player takes the other pile, and you both collect your unplayed cards, shuffle them all together, and lay them out in the traditional format.

Both players get rid of all their spit cards, and neither player can play a card. In this case, whoever has less stock cards left gathers up all his cards and adds the smaller spit pile to them, leaving his rival to add the other pile.

After the first round, the player who has the larger spit-card pile may have spit cards left to turn over, but his opponent doesn’t have any. If this is the case, the player must select a pile on which to put his spit cards, and he must go with that pile to put all his remaining spit cards on for the rest of this run. Of course, that may bring the other player back to life, because as new cards appear on the pile, he may find a way to get rid of some stock cards as a result.

Whenever one player has fewer than 15 spit cards left in his hand at the start of a new round, he deals out the cards into the five stock piles as best he can, starting with the single card and working up to the five-card pile, and then he turns over the top cards as before. But only one communal spit pile exists now because one player has no spit cards with which to make a pile. At this point, whoever gets rid of all the cards from his stock piles gets no additional cards at the end of the round. If that player is the one with no spit cards, he wins the game. If the player with the spit cards wins the round, the other player picks up the central pile and his unused stock cards, and the hand continues.

Spit is a game of skill as well as speed. You have to manage about four or five tasks simultaneously with only one hand. You have to play your cards as fast as possible, turn over new ones, create new piles, and prevent your opponent from playing. In addition, if you have time to plan, you must make your choice of actions that help you and not your rival. All this requires practice and excellent peripheral vision.

Sony’s first handheld gaming system has been replaced by a younger, shinier model. Maybe you’ve waited this whole time to get a PSP, or maybe you’ve inherited one from a friend who bought a new Vita. Either way, now you need some games to cement your relationship.

Below, find our list of the 12 best games on the PSP. We’ve bumped it up in honor of the fact that the handheld came out in North America nine years ago today.

Vita owners get a special bonus: All of the games on this list can be downloaded and played on the Vita, with the exception of Lumines 2 and Every Extend Extra. Note, however, that Vita owners can’t buy the physical copies from the links in this post; you’ll have to download digital copies from the PlayStation store.

The chattier, shorter partner of the Jak & Daxter games gets the spotlight on a platform that’s just his size. Daxter’s turn as a cosmic exterminator provides him the spotlight in a platformer game that’s as funny as it is well-tuned.

How to Play Two Players on PSP

A Good Match for: Looney Tunes buffs. Jak’s sidekick shares the insecure bluster of Daffy Duck and is animated with such detail and charm that he could be related to Bugs or Pepe Lepew.

Not for Those Who Want: Bad-assery. It makes sense to focus Daxter on primarily platforming since Jak tends to handle all the action hero stuff in the J&D games, but fans expecting more high-octane action will be disappointed.

This handheld game re-developed by Rez creator Tetsuya Mizuguchi can only be called an un-shooter. You are the bullet—or bomb, more accurately—fired by a button press and your attacks are actually chained explosions of the game’s enemy swarms themselves. There’s no story here; EEE‘s focused on experience, pushing you to detonate ever bigger explosion sequences to get higher scores, ranks and levels.

A Good Match for: People who like to push themselves. Peppered with items to ramp up the speed and difficulty, this title’s levels are actually dynamic, ever-mutating puzzles that demand patience. If you do it right, self-detonation rewards you with increased playtime and increased lives. Underneath the feast of color, design and sound that EEE offers, the rigid algorithmic nature of the PSP action/puzzle hybrid is where it finds its true beauty.

Not for Those Who Want: Clear progression. The arcane mechanics of EEE will stymie even its most ardent fans and it’s all the more frustrating knowing that more levels—filled with awesome music and visuals—are waiting to be unlocked.

How to Play Two Players on PSP

Apex Legends has been available for a few days and players are already wondering if there is a possibility to play cross-play on the game, i.e. to play with players from another platform… PC, PS4 and Xbox One players on the same servers. We can answer this legitimate question when we see that video games are opening up more and more to this kind of process… The EA and Respawn teams anticipated the demand and specified this point in the game’s FAQ.

☆ Note : After your reading, you can also check our Apex Legends MAP with the best places to land in order to get the best equipment of the game here : Wiki Apex Legends where to land to get the best items, weapons and equipment (locations map).

Is it possible to play Apex Legends between PC, PS4 and XBox One players ?

The answer will disappoint you, but it’s not possible right now… So it means that there is no cross platform function and you won’t be able to play with other players who are on a different platform from yours. But beware, it’s not to be set in stone. Because even if the game teams indicate that Apex Legends does not support cross-platform gaming at the moment, they do not exclude adding this new feature with future game updates. Everything will certainly depend on its success (10 million players already!) in the long term and on the demand of fans.

Game developer Mojang’s sandbox game, Minecraft, is great for getting in touch with your creative side. But playing solo can get a bit lonely at times. Occasionally, you might want to share your creations with the rest of the world. We’ve outlined different ways to play Minecraft with friends across a variety of platforms.

When playing Minecraft: Java Edition, you must run the same game version as the server you’re trying to join, whether it’s on a LAN or hosted online. Find your version number at the bottom of the main menu.

How to Play Minecraft Multiplayer on a LAN

    Minecraft: Java Edition.

Choose a host computer. It should be fast enough to play the game while running a server for others to join.

Launch the game and select Single Player.

Create a new world or open an existing one.

Once you’re inside, press Esc, then select Open to LAN.

Choose a game mode: Survival, Creative, or Adventure.

    Select Start LAN World.

Other players on the same network who want to join can now start their games and connect via the Multiplayer button.

    Minecraft for Windows 10/Xbox

Make sure every player is connected to the same network, then choose a host device.

    Select Play.

Select the Pen icon to create a new world or edit an existing one.

    Select Visible to LAN Players.

How to Play Two Players on PSP

Select either Create or Play and continue as normal.

Others can join the game by looking for available LAN games under the Friends tab.

How to Play Minecraft on an Online Server

    Minecraft: Java Edition

To connect to another player’s server, log into the game, select Multiplayer > Add Server, then enter the IP or web address for that server.

Either download the file needed to set up your own server from Minecraft.net or connect to another person’s server.

    Minecraft for Windows 10/Consoles

These platforms offer a handful of official servers. Join one simply by selecting one under the Servers tab.

To add an external server with the Windows 10 version, select Add Server and enter the necessary information.

How to Play Two Players on PSP

The Add Servers option is not available on consoles due to platform restrictions.

How to Play Minecraft Multiplayer Using a Realm

Minecraft Realms is a multiplayer service developed by Mojang that allows you and up to 10 friends to play simultaneously. However, you’ll need a subscription to use it, and the price depends on the platform you’re using.

The cheapest realm is only a few dollars for a server supporting up to three players (including the host) on mobile, consoles, and Windows 10. For a bit more, you can get a server supporting up to 11 players. You’ll get a better deal if you set up a recurring subscription or buy multiple months.

    Minecraft: Java Edition

Open Minecraft and select Minecraft Realms.

Select the option to Create and Configure Your Realm.

Enter a world name or start with a pre-existing world.

To continue with a standard Survival world, double-click your Realm.

    All Other Platforms

Open the Minecraft app and go to Play > Create New > New Realm.

Choose a name and size for your realm, then select Create.

How to Play Two Players on PSP

Once the realm is created, send invites to your friends.

How to Play Minecraft Multiplayer Using a Split Screen

Split Screen is a console-exclusive feature that allows up to four people to play on the same screen simultaneously. To play in split-screen mode, start the game and connect the controllers. This will automatically divide the screen into smaller, player-specific areas.

The Sony PlayStation 2. PCSX 2 is the only PS2 emulator around, and it’s quite a masterpiece, despite being a bit of a bear to configure.

You can download PCSX2 from its official website with its most up-to-date plug-ins automatically packed in, and with a configuration wizard that walks you through the whole setup process. Download, run the installer, open the emulator, and you’ll be staring down that very wizard. If you have five or ten spare minutes, read on, brave soldier.

The only two options you’ll probably want to change (apart from remapping the control pad) are the CD/DVD and the GS (read: video) plug-in. The first part is easy. If you aren’t using original discs, you want the ISO plug-in available from the drop-down menu.

Tinkering with the video plug-in is a bit more complex. You’ll notice that multiple ‘GSdx’ entries are available from the drop-down menu, each naming a different one of ‘SSE2’, ‘SSSE3’, and ‘SSE41’. For maximum efficiency, you’ll want to use the newest (that is, the highest-numbered) of the different CPU instruction sets that your processor supports. The easiest way to figure this out is to download and run a program called CPU-Z. The relevant information will be in the ‘instructions’ field of the CPU tab, as shown in the illustration below.

Check the Instructions field in CPU-Z. After you’ve determined which GS plug-in you want to use, configure it by clicking the Configure button next to the GS drop-down. Of the available renderers, ‘Direct3D10 – Hardware’ will probably be quickest if your computer supports it, though Direct3D9 should work nearly as well for most games.

You can leave the ‘D3D internal res’ alone (its description is somewhat misleading, and the default setting of 1024 by 1024 won’t lead to a particularly ugly or stretched display at any resolution). Later, if you have speed issues, check the use original PS2 resolution box; conversely, if you have a powerful GPU and like high-res textures, set the ‘use Scaling’ dropdown to 5x or 6x the native resolution. From here, simply point it toward a PS2 BIOS image (such as SCPH10000.bin), and you’re all set.

Configuring the PCSX2 plug-ins. Once you’ve reached the main menu of the emulator, uncheck the Show Console option from the Miscellaneous settings menu, so that the emulator will stop neurotically printing a log of every step it takes. Next, open Emulation Settings from the Config menu, and click the Speedhacks tab. The default settings there are a bit conservative, so check the Enable speedhacks box, turn the ‘EE Cyclerate’ and ‘VU Cycle Stealing’ options to 1, and enable the mVU Block Hack. In the unlikely event that anything goes wrong with a game you’re playing, come back here and disable these. Close the menu, and you can run some games. (If you’d like to tweak any more settings, consult the in-depth configuration guide available from the official forums).

PCSX2 in action. Some games don’t run especially well in PCSX2, but that list is by now relatively short and continues to get shorter. The only game that I wish were a little less sluggish is God Hand, Capcom’s underappreciated quasi-masterpiece brawler, which struggles to move at more than 40 frames per second on my machine.

Frameskip doesn’t help, unfortunately, because the GPU is scarcely taxed more than it would be in trying to render any early-aughts PC game; the problem is the CPU struggling to keep the PS2’s multiple cores chattering together at a decent clip. This is the case with emulators of most “modern” consoles, and though not much can be done about it, you should be aware of it, especially if you plan on upgrading your machine to run newer emulators.

Enabling VSync (a feature designed to ensure that the entire screen gets redrawn at the same instant–and commonly used to prevent “tearing” of the display when the camera pans in first-person shooter games) can cause considerable slowdown in PCSX2, and generally isn’t recommended, because modern emulators are much more CPU-intensive than GPU-intensive. In some cases, emulation necessitates that the PC’s CPU handle graphics-processing functions of the emulated console (thereby compounding the existing bottleneck), and PCSX2’s VSync is one such emulator. Just don’t enable VSync, and hopefully you won’t miss it.

How to Play, Install etc SNES/GBA games on a (L)CFW PSP??

How to Play, Install etc SNES/GBA games on a (L)CFW PSP??

Post by Mister Money » Thu Jun 14, 2012 1:01 am

I think I have the basics of what I will call “CFWing” down so far in that I have installed the plugins and “abilities” I wanted from a PSP:

    – Ripping my own UMD games to ISO and playing via Memory Stick.
    – Having a screenshot plugin to now get original and custom PSP wallpapers from in-game artwork.
    – Dynamic and different Themes (thank you all the creators and converters to 6.60).

But now I want to take the “next step” in CFWing. I want to be able to play SNES and GBA games on my PSP, though I have no idea how, what I need, what to install etc. Being in a ‘What to play on my PSP next?’ mode, I am hoping to play my favorite game of all time, Chrono Trigger, on the PSP. Now, I know it’s on the PSN, and on DS, but EWWWWWW. Not for me. I want to play the GLORIOUS ORIGINAL SNES version on my PSP. Now, before someone retorts that the PSN version is basically the same but with animated cutscenes, to me that’s a crappy excuse for “bringing CT to the PSP.” IMHO it should have been remake ground up for the PSP, similar to FF Anniversary Edition.

    But I’m blabbing. so.

How do I get my (L)CFW PSP-3000 ready to play SNES and GBA games?? I’m interested in taking a trip down memory lane with some gaming classics, but I want to do so on the PSP

    Thanks in advance!!

EDIT: If this topic is in the wrong board or area, please kindly move it accordingly. Thanks!

Miles Sanders and Derek Barnett will miss Sunday’s Philadelphia Eagles season at the Washington Football Team because of hamstring injuries, the team announced Saturday.

Neither player is making the trip to Landover, Maryland, for the opener.

Sanders has been out since early in training camp because of his injury. He was a limited participant in all three practices this week, and the Eagles listed him as questionable for the opener.

In the Eagles’ win over Washington last December, Sanders had 122 rushing yards and 50 receiving yards while scoring two touchdowns. The Eagles were expecting him to play a significant role in their offense this season.

With the former Penn State star sitting out, Boston Scott and Corey Clement should take on more significant roles in the Eagles offense.

Barnett did not participate in any training camp practices open to the media. He was also a limited participant in all three practices week, and he too was listed as questionable for Sunday’s game.

In his absence, Josh Sweat and Vinny Curry should see more time, along with the possibility of Genard Avery seeing some more time, too.

Right tackle Lane Johnson (ankle) remains questionable for Sunday’s game.

The Eagles also announced two promotions to the active roster from the practice squad for Sunday’s game in defensive tackle T.Y. McGill and guard Sua Opeta. Under new rules for 2020, NFL teams are allowed to have 55 players on their roster for game day, and 48 players will be active for action Sunday. Opeta’s promotion doesn’t necessarily bode well for Johnson’s availability.

McGill and Opeta should not be exposed to waivers if they are sent back to the practice squad.

Fantasy football lets you try your skills as a fantasy owner. After you join a league, you scout for and draft players, compete against other fantasy owners, and use all your skills to win the championship. Learning how to play fantasy football is easy; conquering your competitors and becoming a champion is a different story.

How to Play Two Players on PSP

Fantasy Football 101: Here’s what happens in a fantasy football season.

    You join a league.

You can join a public league, where anyone can sign up for a spot, or a private league, where you need an invitation to play. Some people, typically beginners, play just for fun and some play for money (in some cases, serious coin). Be sure to understand the type of league you join, along with its rules. League selection is an important factor, so don’t take it lightly.

You prepare for your league draft by scouting players.

Before choosing your fantasy team, you need to research all the available players so you can pre-rank them according to your personal preference. Understanding your league’s scoring system and roster setup is critical to creating a bulletproof draft strategy.

You build your fantasy football team via the draft.

The draft is the most fun and exciting day of the fantasy season. During the draft, each fantasy owner selects on NFL player at a time until the rosters are complete. Fantasy football drafts can take place online, but some leagues — typically friends or co-workers — will conduct the draft in person. Remember to draft all of the correct positions, so that you can have a full team roster.

Your team competes against another team every week.

During the NFL season, the real teams face each other and so do the fantasy teams in your league. The players’ real-time stats are converted into fantasy points by your league provider, and the fantasy team that scores the most points wins the game for the week. The goal is to win as many games as possible to make the playoffs.

You make moves to improve your team.

As a fantasy owner, you’re in total control. You can drop players you think aren’t good enough and replace them with free agents. If one of your starters gets injured, you can bench him and start a healthy player instead. You may even make a trade offer to another owner.

Your team (hopefully) makes the playoffs and wins your league.

Only the strong survive, and at the end of the fantasy season, the top teams square off in a single-elimination tournament to decide the league champion. The last team standing may win a trophy, a cash prize, or just honor; but make no mistake, there will be only one winner.

Since last week’s release of the portable-only Switch Lite, I’ve been trying to set up my account on both the Lite and my original Switch so my wife and kids can play games like Super Mario Odyssey and Yoshi’s Crafted World on one without erasing my save data or interrupting my playing Puzzle Quest on the other. Nintendo hasn’t made this easy. Here’s how we’ve made it work.

In theory, it should just work without any fancy workarounds. I have two Switches, the new Lite and an original Switch that I purchased in March of 2017. I also own a vast library of games, mostly digitally. I want to be able to share these games across these systems. I also want to be able to stop playing on one console, transfer save data over, and pick up where I left off on the other.

The obstacle is that Nintendo won’t just let you do this. They require that Switch owners have a Nintendo Account, used to digitally purchase games. A Nintendo account can be added to multiple Switch consoles, but only one console at a time can be designated the “primary” console. That’s where the issues lie.

The Problem With Setting Up Two Switches On One Account

First off, in order to play a game on a non-primary system, that system has to connect to the internet to ensure the user owns and can access the content. While a non-primary Switch can still download digital games or content owned by a Nintendo account, there are limitations on when and how those games can be played. If a non-primary Switch cannot connect to the internet, it will not play games.

How to Play Two Players on PSP

Secondly, a non-primary Switch cannot launch a game if the primary Switch is already playing a downloaded game from the same user account. For example, if I am playing Puzzle Quest on my primary Switch and my wife attempts to play any game on my Switch Lite using my account, she will get a message indicating the game is suspended because the account is being used on another system. If my wife is actively playing on the secondary and I start any digital game on my primary Switch, her game will pause and she’ll get the same suspend message.

Also note that a non-primary Switch cannot share games between different users. While any user can play my purchased games on my primary Switch, to play my games on the non-primary Switch Lite, my wife has to be logged in under my Nintendo account.

My solution has involved setting up my Nintendo account on the Switch Lite. This has given anyone playing the Lite the ability to download and play any games on my Nintendo account. This works fine as long as my Switch Lite is the only Switch of mine that is being used, but I’ve run into problems, because I’d established my original Switch as my Primary Switch. Turns out that wasn’t the best solution.

    Changing The Primary Switch

The first Nintendo Switch to connect to the eShop for a specific user is designated their primary console. The primary console for any Nintendo account is able to download and play any game purchased under that account without limitations. No internet check is required to ensure a primary console’s software is playable.

Only one console can be a primary console for a Nintendo account at a time, though multiple accounts can claim the same Switch as their primary. I have three Nintendo accounts: my main account and two to access the European and Japanese eShops. All three accounts have my original Switch set as primary. Any additional users added to a Switch console can also freely play any content downloaded by that Switch’s primary users.

A Nintendo account holder can change which Switch console is their primary at any time. This is done by logging into the eShop on the primary console, going to account settings, and choosing the deactivate console option. After that, the next Switch that logs into the eShop will automatically become primary.

The Best Configuration For Two Switches

If you’re going to run two Switches sharing a single Nintendo account, whichever system is more likely to wind up somewhere without convenient access to the internet should be the primary console. This is because a non-primary Switch needs to connect to the internet to verify ownership of downloadable content, while a primary console does not.

That’s why I’ve decided to make my original Switch my non-primary one. My plan is to keep my original Switch at home for docked play. Since it will never be far from my wireless router, I can afford to always have the online check before I play a game. The Switch Lite, which I imagine I’ll be taking everywhere I go, will be the new primary, so I can play games that don’t require an internet connection wherever I want.

Since the Switch Lite is primary, and any account can play a game purchased by the main account on a primary system, my wife can create her own user name on the Switch Lite and play any of the games I’ve amassed without worry. Even better, if she is playing on her account on the Switch Lite, when my normal Switch does the pre-launch check to see if my account is playing any games on the primary console, it won’t detect anything. I can play my games, she can play hers, and I won’t get yelled at for interrupting her bathroom Puzzle Quest sessions anymore.

    How To Trade Save Games

You can juggle save files across two Switches, but it requires manual effort. It’s not automated or seamless.

How to Play Two Players on PSP

    Overcooked

Been playing it two-player for the past few nights. It’s not too bad, though there are some levels where four-players would make it much easier, especially in later levels. I’ve found that going back to earlier levels after the difficulty ramps up makes those tough levels from earlier on much easier to three star in, though.

TL;DR – Doable with two players, easier with four. Some level replays will be required to unlock later levels, but that’s part of the fun, right?

I’m playing this with my brother and we’ve managed to three star all levels (only final boss level left to beat, and it’s ‘INTENSE!).

you’ll love this no doubt.. Also, the amount of points for 2P are less than what 4P needs in order to achive each star, so it’s fair enough.

I feel 2 player is actually the best mode, but for more chaotic fun its also great with 3 and 4 people.

Dont listen to what others say solo play is actually really great as well

More players is better, but 2p is great. Caution: may destroy your relationship with your wife.

    I second this :p

We made the whole game my wife and I : It’s fun and it may ask for some organisation.
We scored 3 stars on evey level expect on the one with lava and rotating platform (I had to solo it because the relatonship was in great danger :p)

Looking for something that my wife and I can play together. This game seems like some silly fun. How well does it play with two people?

There are essentially two camps of English-speaking Phantasy Star Online 2 players. On one side, those who were obsessed with the original PSO on Dreamcast and have been playing the Japanese version of PSO2 for years. On the other side, well, those were equally obsessed with the original PSO on Dreamcast and recently got a thrilling but tragically brief taste of Phantasy Star Online 2 in English via the recent North American Closed Beta Test on Xbox One. I’m in the latter camp, and I can’t wait for Sega to finally launch PSO2 stateside.

    Phantasy Star Online 2

Seriously, I refused to wait. If you’re also the impatient kind, are experiencing withdrawals from the NA closed beta and can’t stop wondering how your MAG is coping without you, keep reading.

Among the PSO2 hardcore, this is certainly a known quantity, but for many players it’s likely hiding just under the radar: you can absolutely play PSO2 right now on your PC, for free, in English. And it’s (mostly) dead simple to get up and running.

    • Pretty much any PC sold or built in the last 8 years [System Requirements]
    • A handy piece of software called PSO2Tweaker
    • A Japanese SEGA ID
    • Patience for the Japanese SEGA ID process

Playing on the PSO2 JP servers might seem like a waste of time, but there are so many mechanics, so much to wrap your head around, that you’ll appreciate the time spent getting up to speed (and having a blast) before the Spring 2020 launch in America.

I’ll make the rest of this as brief as possible so you and I can both get back to what matters: Emergency Quests and dailies, MAG breeding, resource gathering, gear-grinding, client orders and that satisfying frantic combat.

In a nutshell, PSO2 Tweaker is an app for Windows that automatically downloads Phantasy Star Online 2 for you and injects the community-translated English patches into the game, which has been passionately worked on by the Arks-Layer group.

There’s no tweaking and no constant updates to worry about. You can even download the PSO2 JP (Japan) character creator and benchmark tool separately to get a head-start while you wait for the large game download to finish.

If you’re worried about navigating through PSO2 JP even with the English translations, let me put your mind at ease. So far I’ve taken my CAST Braver “Solus Prime” to level 42 without ever feeling lost. A surprising amount of dialog has been translated from Japanese to English, and this includes the vast majority of the quests and various client orders I’ve accepted. From tutorials to shops, it’s quite well done and you’ll never be left scratching your head due to a language barrier. Aside from the voiceovers, it almost feels like playing a localized version.

    Where To Find English Players

You’ll find an abundance of English-speaking players there, too, especially with all the buzz following the recent closed beta. You’ll quickly notice that on Ship 2 (Ur) where I’m based, almost everyone is chatting in English. Bumped.org confirms that Ships 2, 4 and 10 boast the highest populations of English players, once you’re logged in make one of those ships home.

    The PSO2 Tweaker

I’m just here to set you off in the right direction. Thankfully the helpful people at Arks-Layer and Bumped.org have already written the perfect guides to get you through the SEGA ID registration process and the download and installation of the PSO2 client.

Rather that regurgitate their excellent guides, I’ll link you straight to them. Follow them in this order so that you can get PSO2 downloading before you step through the SEGA ID registration, as this may take some time and patience. But believe me, if I could do it, anyone can!

You’ll probably navigate the majority of this easily using a Google Translate browser extension, but read Step 7 of this guide — concerning the “Captcha Boss” carefully. You’ll need to either use Google Translate’s “Draw” feature to solve this, or fire up a Hiragana keyboard to find the correct characters and input them.

Happy hunting ARKS, and I’ll see you out there. While you’re downloading the game, here’s a fantastic primer for new players:

Donald Trump has branded the NBA a “political organisation” as protests intensified over the shooting of Jacob Blake by police in Wisconsin.

While President Trump admitted he did not know much about the shooting of Mr Blake, he spoke about the NBA teams’ actions.

“They’ve become like a political organisation and that’s not a good thing,” he said on Thursday.

“I don’t think that’s a good thing for sports or for the country.”
