How to fight with a stick

When used correctly, a stick enhances your combat capabilities. Perhaps the most prolific form of stick fighting was developed in the Philippines. It is a system of martial arts that today is referred to as escrima, kali or arnis. In the 1500s, Spanish conquerors armed with knives and swords forced their will upon the Philippine natives, who fought back with thin lengths of wood that were previously used for recreation. Stick fighting is ideal for self-defense situations when an attacker wields a weapon. As the early innovators did, you can increase your chances of survival by fighting back with a stick.

Hand Position

Hold your stick about one fist length from the bottom. This creates a double ended weapon. The primary end being the long side that you strike with. The secondary end is below your fist, which can be used as a bludgeon during close quarter combat. Do not squeeze the stick too tightly as this will waste energy and make your movements too rigid. When out of striking range, point your stick at your opponent’s face. This skews their depth perception of the stick, how long it is and how close it is to them.

Continuous Motion

Swing in an ‘X’ or figure-eight motion, emphasizing downward horizontal strikes that are aimed at collarbone level. Your swinging hand should be in the front of your fighting stance with your back hand guarding your face. The same figure-eight motion can be reversed with striking emphasis on the upswing motion, aimed at the midsection level. Swing the stick using body motion that starts in the knees and hips and continues through the shoulders and arms. Keep your wrists rigid. Vary your swings from figure-eights to horizontal back-and-forth motions aimed at knee level, mid-level and head level.

Target Areas

Use your continuous swings to knock away strike attempts from your opponent while targeting specific areas areas of his or her body, like the side of the head, side of the neck, collarbone, outer upper arm, outside of the elbow, outer thigh and outside of the knee. The only target more important than these areas is the attacker’s weapon hand. Whenever possible, use your stick to hit his or her hand, forcing him or her to drop the weapon.

Fighting with a stick, although it strengthens your offensive and defensive capabilities, also presents its own dangers. If your stick leaves your hand, it can be used against you. Minimize the probability of this by avoiding wide swings that compromise your defense and leave you open to counter strikes. A hard blow to the body or head could cause you to drop your stick. Constant motion will also decrease the probability of your attacker knocking your stick away with a direct hit to your stick hand.

If you have no prior martial arts training you’re going to need legitimate classes, otherwise you’re not going to know what you’re doing.

The Bo is the most basic martial art weapon. It’s the first learned and the last to master. If you want to study the Bo, you could start with some videos from Century or WLE.

You can’t learn from the internet. If you really want to learn how to fight with a staff you are going to need legitimate lessons from a legitimate instructor. Their are so many small and imperceivable movements that you don’t realize are there, but they make all the difference.

As a martial artist, after you learn the major techniques and applications, you begin to narrow things down and focus on the smallest of movements and details. Without learning from a qualified instructor you’re not going to know what these movements are or how to apply them on your own unless you’re a fighting genius, which one wouldn’t be asking for help.

An Australian man has fended off an attack by a 10ft (3m) crocodile. How could anyone possibly defeat such a beast?

They are huge, vicious predators, with incredibly powerful jaws and move with lightning speed – so you really, really don’t want to start an argument with one.

But Australian miner Eddie Sigai found himself on the wrong side of a crocodile when one grabbed his arm and dragged him underwater at a Queensland creek.

Mr Sigai, 37, managed to escape with cuts to his back and hand, as pictured in the Daily Mail, by poking the creature in the eyes – which experts agree offers the only possible chance of fending off such an assault.

But wildlife presenter and crocodile fan Chris Packham warns: “The only way you can guarantee survival is not get attacked in the first place.”

Though a great enthusiast for all things crocodile-related – he once seriously considered the logistics of keeping one in his home as a pet – Packham says humans always need to be on their guard when in the vicinity of such animals.

With crocodiles, prevention is always better than cure Chris Packham, Wildlife presenter

They are extremely intelligent, he says, and will lie in wait underwater, silently approaching their prey before launching a ferocious, unexpected assault.

“Trying to open its mouth with your hands isn’t going to work – its jaw closes with the power of 13 tonnes per square inch,” he says.

“Its skin is so thick you aren’t going to pierce it and its head is a solid mass of bone – there are no weak points.

“The one thing you can do is get your fingers in its eyes – but with crocodiles, prevention is always better than cure.”

It was this technique that saved Mr Sigai, who gouged the saltwater crocodile when it attacked.

The miner, 37, who had been swimming in a creek with his daughters, aged 12 and 17, was left with bite marks on his left hand and deep scratch marks down his back after spending two days in hospital – yet acknowledges he was lucky to escape alive.

  • Experts say the best way to fight off a crocodile is to poke its eyes in the hope it will let go
  • But the most reliable way to escape its jaws is to stay alert and not get attacked in the first place
  • If you spot a crocodile, it is best to back away slowly

Bob Cooper, an Australian bushcraft expert and instructor in survival skills, agrees that the eyes offer the only route to fending off a crocodile attack.

But he says he is constantly amazed at how careless visitors to crocodile-infested waters can be in the presence of such dangerous creatures.

“If they’ve got hold of you, poking the eyes is the only possible way you can fight back – they have thousands of years of instinct telling them this is the only vulnerable part of their body and they need to let go,” Mr Cooper says.

“But the chances are you aren’t going to get anywhere near them. Once they’ve got you underwater, that’s it, you’re going to drown.”

A part of BBC News Magazine, Who, What, Why? aims to answer questions behind the headlines

One expert who has spent enough time with the beasts to gauge the best way to handle them is Shaun Foggett, founder of the Crocodiles of the World conservation centre in Oxfordshire.

He agrees that vigilance is more reliable than eye-poking, and advises that taking the opportunity to make your escape is the best way to keep out of a crocodile’s jaws.

“If you are within striking distance, you probably won’t know much about it,” he says.

“Otherwise, they might give you a warning – they’ll start hissing at you. The best thing to do then is to back away slowly and not make any sudden movements – an adult croc can run as fast as an adult human.”

Remember the stick games back from the early age of the internet when computers were so weak that all they can run were browser games. Well, now the Sticks are back in Stick Fight: The Game. And to tell you the truth this is probably the best stick fight game ever. Before we talk about how to play Stick Fight: The Game we need to explain to the people who don’t know what exactly are sticks and why are they so popular.

What are Stick Games

Stick games got popular decades ago when games did not have a great graphic. Developers instead of creating expensive graphical games decided to create stick figures which are simple. The stick figures were made only from lines but the poor design was not the problem, people all over the world started to play stick games. The main advantage of stick games is the simplicity and lots of action. Lack of design is countered by extremely enjoyable action games. Today we see stick figures in many different types of games. Most popular stick games are the ones where one or more stick figures are fighting. But the people who prefer strategy games can find stickman even there. Basically, all genres are covered, you can play stick game shooting games or all-time popular defense games. Whatever you prefer I am sure you love the funny stick figures on the screen.

What You Can Find in Stick Fight: The Game

The game is available over on the steam, and it is extremely affordable. The first version of the game was released in 2017 but since the game received many updates and many players appreciate that. In the game, you will have lots of fun, action and overall extreme fights. I forgot to mention the best part of the game, which is multiplayer. Yes, you read it correctly, Stick Fight: The Game is a multiplayer game which means you can play with your friends online whenever you want. You should know that the game is not having single play mode which means you will need to play it over LAN with a friend or online using a multiplayer mode. At least 2 players are required for the game to be played, and the maximum number of players is 4.

Why You Should Play Stick Fight: The Game

If you enjoy playing simple games where the fun is in the first place and on the second is the constant action then this game is ideal for you. Having fun online with friends is what this game is made for. If you are a streamer, you should try this game and see how the audience will react. I am sure this game can be refreshment on your Twitch channel, and the audience will appreciate something new, not ordinary to watch.

If you like diversity in the games, then 80 levels or so called maps will be more than enough. On each level you have only one goal, to be the last man standing. You can fight your opponent by hands, or you can grab a weapon. Now the weapons in the game are a whole new story. Developers had a real imagination, and some of the weapons are funny but at the same time deadly. You will find many special weapons that are not shooting bullets. These exclusive weapons will often time shoot snakes. These snakes are alive and if you miss the target snake will attack the nearest person including you. Beware when you use snake launcher. Especially you need to be careful when using a minigun which shoots mini snakes. In a short period, you can flood the map with mini snakes which will eat everything that walks. If you are Star Wars fan, then I need to tell you that some maps will give you lightsabre.

Combat System is Best Part of The Game

The main goal of the game is to fight. After all title of the game says so. I am not sure when was the last time I saw such a good combat system. In the game, you can use hands and legs. The stickman will do the hitting like a Jackie Chan or Bruce Lee if you are from that age. Close pure hand to hand fighting is fun, but it will take some time to kill the enemy. Best way to destroy an enemy is to use physics. The game is made by people who understand, and you will notice that in the game. Many times you will not even need to shoot the enemy, all you will need to do is do the damage to the chains or walls which will collapse the whole building and in that way destroy the enemy. Imagination and out of the box thinking will many times lead you to the solutions that will surprise the opponent and get you an easy win. Everything on the map can be destroyed, and maybe sometimes it is the best strategy to shoot the objects on the map than directly aiming at the opponent.

Every gamer, casual or pro, streamer or smurf will enjoy the game. System requirements for this game are minimal, and I am sure any computer bought in the last 15 years will run the game without significant problems. All you need to do is install the game, find a friend and start discovering 80+ maps. Let the best stick fighter win.

Many harvests ago, I wrote a column about how to win a fight against 20 children. This column was very popular, and I vowed that I would write another one as soon as I completed all the terms of my resulting plea bargain and five-year probationary period.

Well, today is the future, and it shall be your doom, children.

As is traditional with violent self-defense fantasies, first we’re going to need to come up with some sort of pretext for why you might need to attack children with a stick. You know . otherwise this could be considered immoral. So I guess please don’t use any of this advice unless a group of children are breaking into your home or pursuing you through the corn or something.

The Continuing Adventures of Frank Clay

“Uh…you talk?” I replied, eloquently to the pterodactyl squatting over me on the edge of his nest.

Despite his inflexible beak, he seemed to be smiling down at me. “Indeed. Too right. I do go on.”

“That’s such a relief,” I confessed. “I was afraid you were going to feed me to your babies.”

“No babies for me. Lifelong bachelor, I’m afraid.”

“That’s a shame, but I’m sure you’ll meet the right…person sooner or later.”

He chuckled merrily. “What a kind thing to say, lad! Rather makes me feel a bit like a heel. Almost makes me not want to eat you now.”

“Eat me?” I gasped, backing away from the pterosaur. “I thought you said you weren’t going to eat me?”

“All I told you was that I didn’t have children, which is the truth. No babies for this lad. It’s tough enough feeding one mouth, forget half a dozen. I mean, imagine splitting you eight-ways, no thank you. I’d be lucky to get a liver out of it.”

That was enough for me. I made a break for it, running to the far end of the nest before starting my climb out. “What are you doing there, chap?” the Pterodactyl asked as he flapped over to me. “Trying to get away, are you?”

“I’m not going to let you eat me,” I told him. What could I say, I had a thing about not getting eaten.

He laughed. “I don’t think you really have a choice in the matter.”

“You want to make a bet?”

He swung his wing at me and I jumped out of the way. As I came up to my feet, he swung again, but now I was no longer unarmed. As I had rolled, I had pulled one of the sticks out of the nest. It was a good sized stick, nearly the size of my arm, and when I tried to block his attack, the stick went right through the skin flap of his wing. “Ah!” he screamed. “Why’d you do that. ”

“All I did was defend myself. And I’ll do it again if you try to attack me again.”

“You think I’m going to just let you rip my wing and get away with it? I don’t think so, little worm. I’m going to tear you to shreds!”

I raised my stick up in the air. “I’d like to see you try!”

I did not want to see him try. What I really wanted to see him do was fly away, but he seemed a bit too angry at the moment for that too happen. He went after me leading with his beak. I smacked him across the side of the face.

“Ow!” the Pterosaur shrieked. “That hurt!”

“And you think eating me isn’t going to hurt?”

“It’s not going to hurt me.”

“Oh, yeah?” I waved my stick at him. “I’m going to do my best to make sure that it does.”

“Give up, lad. All you’re doing is drawing this out.”

“That’s fine with me. I can do this forever. You’re the one that’s hungry, not me.”

“Why must you be so violent?” the Pterodactyl whined. “I’m trying to be civil and you resort to violence and rudeness.”

“Because you’re trying to eat me and I don’t want to get eaten.”

“It’s the natural order of things,” the Pterodactyl tried to explain. “There are predators and prey, eaters and those who are eaten. Fighting it is futile.”

I raised my club in the air. “Well, then here’s to futility because I’m not going to let you eat me.”

The Pterodactyl lunged again and again, but I batted him away each time until finally, with a look of frustration, he took off into the air. I had beaten him! I had scared him off! But it wouldn’t be for long, I knew that. I immediately began climbing out of the nest. Unfortunately, I didn’t get very far before he came swooping back down at me.

I lunged out of the way toward the mountain. For a second, I thought I might be safe. I had dodged the pterodactyl. I had escaped the nest. But as I tried to hold onto the mountain, I began to slip.

My hand came loose and I began to fall. But it wasn’t a plummet – I was still too close to the mountain for that. It was more like a tumble. I bounced back and forth as my body ricocheted off of the various outcroppings. It hurt quite a bit. It looked like this was going to be the end, that I was either going to break my neck falling down this mountain or I was going to tumble off this mountain and be back where I started, plummeting into the abyss forever. And then suddenly I felt a tug on my hip and I came to a stop.

I looked up toward my prosthetic leg. I was just hanging from it. Had it gotten stuck, wedged into a crevice? I pulled myself up to get a better look. Hanging onto the calve, there didn’t seem to be anything for it to have gotten stuck to. And then something caught my eye, a glint of metal. I wasn’t wedged into something. Something had instead come out of my cybernetic leg, some kind of metal…thing.

Meaning, my prosthetic leg had just saved me! I don’t know how or why, but it did! It had hurt like hell when it had, pulling on the joint, but that was better than splatting on the ground, assuming there was a ground in this dimension, or falling forever if there wasn’t. Now, all I had to do was get my leg free from the cliff and not fall in the attempt.

I went searching for handholds, something I could use to prop myself, something that would be able to support my weight. The mountain was far from flat, but there weren’t any convenient ledges nearby. I did the best that I could and started to pull myself up. I thought I had a good hold and I starting feeling around my leg for a button to extract the blade. I found no button, but surprisingly the blade extracted itself. But as my leg came free, a large shadow fell over me.

It was the Pterodactyl and he was not happy.

According to the FBI, Knife Crime in the US is growing.

An Annual Crime Report showed 1,694 Murders in one year with knives and cutting objects.

And that’s ONLY counting actual homicides – not attempted murders and injuries!

It’s common knowledge why knives are used so often by criminals to attack their targets…

Knives are easy to conceal…
… easy to find anywhere
… no background check is required
… and they’re dirt-cheap!

Sure, I’m a firm believer in carrying a concealed weapon as a line of defense… but I also believe that you damn well better know how to use a knife in self-defense if you have to.

Frankly, no matter what your skills are, you are NOT fully prepared if you don’t know this.

But even a lot of the so-called “experts” fail to apply common sense to their knife-fighting tactics – even with something as basic as the correct knife-fighting stance…

The Knife Fighting Stance That Could
Get You Killed In A Real Knife Fight

Most people train “artsy” and get very fancy and dogmatic about how you should hold the knife.

It looks great in training and competitions, but in those situations they’re not really trying to KILL each other.

For example, take the common knife-fighting stance shown above.

It sure looks cool, but do you see how the primary lethal targets of the wrist and throat are easily exposed for a slash or jab?

Also, the weapon bearing hand has its knuckles exposed for an simple disarming slash

Now take a look at this knife-fighting stance in comparison…

The chin is slightly tucked to protect the throat.

The knife leads the front at-the-ready and provides a pointed shield.

The other hand is still up for defensive action, but by turning the wrist inward it removes the lethal target of the wrist – so if that hand does get slashed, he’s still in the game.

That hand is also a shield for the throat and face (a slash to the eyes can be devastating as well)

See the difference?

It’s simple knife-fighting tactics like this that can mean the difference between life or death if you’re ever forced to defend yourself with a blade.

Don’t bet your life on fancy moves that will get you killed!

One of the Nintendo Switch’s best controller makers has just revealed its new fight stick, which also works on PC.

on August 31, 2020 at 3:11PM PDT

The Nintendo Switch is home to some fantastic fighting games, including Street Fighter: 30th Anniversary Collection and Mortal Kombat 11, and now it’s getting a brand new fight stick. 8Bitdo is known for its retro-style controllers, and it revealed its first fight stick. The 8Bitdo arcade stick costs $90 and features Bluetooth, 2.4GHz wireless, and wired USB-C connection modes. The fight stick releases on October 20, and if you’re interested in picking it up, you can pre-order it from Amazon right now.

The 8Bitdo arcade stick works with both Nintendo Switch and PC and is compatible with 8Bitdo’s button remapping software. You can flip between Switch and PC modes on the fly, and while this serves a functional purpose, it’s also represented visually. The stick displays its button designations right above or below the buttons, and when you switch modes, the mappings will change. For example, RT and LT replace ZR and ZL respectively, while the face buttons swap places from the Switch’s layout to their positioning on an Xbox One controller.

According to 8Bitdo, its arcade stick is also “ultra-moddable.” The company notes that it is designed with a universal joystick plate, making it compatible with a wide number of parts.

  • Happ arcade sticks
  • IL arcade sticks
  • All standard Sanwa/Seimitsu 30mm/24mm buttons

The 8Bitdo arcade stick also comes with Home and Screenshot buttons, a 1000mAh rechargeable battery, and turbo functionality as well as a toggle switch that changes the joystick control between the D-pad and the analog sticks.

Are you one of those people that find it extremely hard, or even impossible to stay on schedule? It seems that no matter how hard you try and no matter how many pretty planners you buy and detailed lists you make, you’re always ending up behind at the end of the day. It’s an impossible problem, because it feels like you’re just missing a punctuality gene that everyone else has. Why can’t you just finish on time?

Well, the problem might not be your DNA makeup or your personality (“I’m just not a productive person,”) but rather it could be the way you’re building your schedules. Are you adding in buffer times between each task in case a project spills over, or are you trying to squeeze in bigger tasks into smaller slots? Are you penciling in your play time just as often as your work time to keep everything balanced?Or maybe you’re just not being cognizant enough of the lists you have created. Are you keeping track of what you still have to do, or do you just use your schedule as a numbered list you blindly follow, without looking at deadlines? See — so many factors! But don’t worry, we can crack this code together. Here are seven tips on how to stay on schedule, once and for all.

1. Give What You’re Doing Your Undivided Attention

Do you sneak onto Facebook while you’re in the middle of a project? Or do you give yourself a little Pinterest break during a busy day to “give your brain a rest.” Nah, girl, none of that. A sure fire way to keep yourself neatly on schedule is to give each of your scheduled tasks your undivided attention. Craig Jarrow, author of Time Management Ninja, explained, “One of the keys to keeping a balanced schedule is to actively focus on what you are doing at any given point in time. Remember, you scheduled items into your calendar so everything wouldn’t happen at the same time!”

Does that sound a little too rigid to you? Well, it doesn’t have to be. You know best how you stay productive, so if you need a coffee break, an Instagram pause, or even an hour long veg-out with Netflix, put that into the schedule. That way everything keeps cruising along.

2. Create Realistic Deadlines

Instead of taking a handful of tasks and jimmying them all into an eight hour workday, come up with realistic deadlines. If answering emails takes longer than an hour, allow yourself to schedule a bigger time slot to make sure you stay on track. Even if something takes longer than you feel it should, that doesn’t mean it’s wasted time — it’s just you being honest on how you work.

According to lifestyle writer Scott Young at self development site Pick the Brain, “If you need to set up a new work routine, I prefer the top-down approach. The top-down approach focuses you on deciding what work needs to be done, and by what deadlines. Once you know the time limit for the work you need to do, this automatically creates the pressure to come up with a productive schedule.” Stack tasks on your schedule according to their realistic deadlines, rather than breaking things into uniform time slots.

3. Train Yourself To Avoid Distractions

Letting your mind wander is a habit, and just with anything you’re disciplined with, you can force yourself to break the habit with some training.

Lifestyle writer Nadia Goodman at Entrepreneur explained, “Practice concentration by turning off all distractions and committing your attention to a single task. Start small, maybe five minutes per day, and work up to larger chunks of time. If you find your mind wandering, just return to the task at hand.” If you find yourself itching to check Instagram or take a quick chocolate break, just tell yourself no and keep working. Exercise that productivity muscle!

4. Give Your Schedule Regular Glances

A great way to keep yourself focused on what still needs to be done is to do a constant check-in with your schedule. That way you won’t be sidelined by a chunk of time that needs deep concentration and energy, and you’ll be able to ration out your concentration correctly throughout the day.

Jarrow advised, “Get in the habit of checking your schedule for not only what is coming up in the next hour, but what is coming up in the next several hours.” We usually begin to procrastinate or dabble with distractions when we begin to feel burnt out, but when you know how the whole day is supposed to look, you can psych yourself up accordingly to keep yourself running.

5. Always Add Cushion Time Between Each Task

Sometimes things take longer to finish than expected — whether it’s because a task turned out particularly tricky, you fell into a slump, or dipped out on a quick coffee break. In order to make sure those unforeseen moments don’t throw a wrench into your workflow, always add in time-cushions of 10 to 15 minutes between each task so you’re giving yourself some wiggle room.

As Rebekah Epstein, publicist and contributor to Entrepreneur admitted, “I become anxious when meetings run late, conference calls go over the budgeted time or projects take longer than anticipated. The reality is this type of thing happens on a daily basis, and you can’t get too stressed out about it.” With those cushions in between, you won’t ever have to be stressed out about it.

6. For The Hard Tasks, Schedule Them Into Off-Hours

When you really need to lock yourself down and concentrate, try scheduling those tasks during off-hours where you won’t run into a lot of distractions.

Epstein wrote, “Pick one of these times, when other people aren’t working, to focus on projects that require a lot of concentration. Every morning from 5 a.m. to 9 a.m. is my uninterrupted time to write articles, answer emails, and work on research projects.” If you know that you have a tricky task coming up the next day that’ll need your undivided attention try to pencil it in during an off-hour that you’ll feel your most productive. Though it’s not typical, you’ll get more done that way.

7. Schedule Work And Play In The Same Spot To Keep Yourself Balanced

Ever feel like you’re spinning your wheels? You might have all your work planned and scheduled to a tee, but when a friend comes ringing to grab a cup of coffee or to grab a burger after work, your pretty schedule can take a hit. How do you avoid that skid? Simple: Schedule work and play in one place, so you can see how much time and room you have for each.

Epstein explained, “When I first began my public relations work, I often canceled plans with friends because projects would take longer than I expected. I didn’t feel I was getting anything done. Then I started scheduling both my professional and personal commitments in one place and assigning equal importance to both. This way I can really see how much time I have for each.”

If you keep all your tasks (work and play) in one spot, keep an eye on deadlines and projects multiple times a day, and allow yourself some buffer time to slack and relax, you should see a complete difference on how you stay on track!

How to Fight With a Stick

UFC fans are delighted to know Adesanya vs. Costa will headline UFC 253 at the fight island – UAE. The match will take place on July 12, 2020. The UFC Title Fight between the two combatants is expected to blow everyone away, which should explain why people are looking for ways to watch it live when it is finally aired.

For those who wish to stream UFC on Fire Stick, it may seem a bit difficult. But then again, where there is a will, there is always some way.

Read on, to find out how! All you need to do is, follow a series of steps carefully.

Enjoy UFC on Fire Stick free

You can watch Adesanya vs. Costa head-to-head for free and with complete ease through Ivacy. You need to get a VPN to unblock your access to the internet, without which the solution will not work. Without further ado, here is what you need to do:

  1. On your Fire TV or Fire Stick’s Home screen, go to Settings.
  2. Select Device.
  3. Select Developers Options.
  4. Change the setting to ON for Apps from Unknown Sources.
  5. Return to the Home screen.
  6. Click on the Magnifying glass.
  7. Type ES File Explorer.
  8. Click Download.
  9. Once downloaded, under Apps, select ES File Explorer.
  10. Select Downloader.
  11. Click Add.
  12. In the URL field, enter
  13. In the Name field, enter Mobdro.
  14. Once downloaded, execute the downloaded file to install Mobdro.
  15. Once the installation is complete, access Mobdro under Apps from the Home screen.
  16. Enjoy viewing UFC on Fire Stick live free when it is aired.

Get UFC PPV for Cheap Instead

If you much prefer getting a UFC PPV instead, there is no harm in doing so. The good news is you do not have to pay full price for UFC PPV, and can instead get it for cheaper. But in order for this to work, you will again require Ivacy VPN.

To get the UFC PPV or the UFC PPV + 6 Months subscription for cheap, you will need to use Ivacy VPN to connect to a server in the Philippines. Once connected, visit the UFC official site, where you will notice the price for the UFC PPV will be $18.25 instead of $29.00, while the UFC PPV + 6 Months subscription will cost $42.89 instead of $56.96.

NOTE: the cost of the PPV subscriptions presented on the site, once connected, will be in Pesos; which when converted to US Dollar results in the prices mentioned above.

Unless you want a DMCA notice, use Ivacy VPN for complete protection online.

UFC Main Event and Title Card

Not to take away from the fact that the Adesanya vs. Costa match will steal the show, but UFC has a lot more to offer apart from the main fight.

There are a number of competitive matches that are scheduled to go down as one of the finest UFC matches to have taken place. Keeping this in mind, here are details regarding the main event along with the other matches to look forward to.

How to Fight With a StickUFC 253 fight card

Now that you know what needs to be done to watch UFC live stream on Fire Stick free and/or by getting a cheaper UFC PPV, you should not waste this opportunity for any reason whatsoever. No matter what solution you opt for, its success is dependent on the usage of the Ivacy VPN. The best part? You benefit from additional features like Internet Kill Switch, Smart DNS Protection; thus guaranteeing complete internet security and anonymity with true internet freedom.

Everyone loves animation. And imagine how cool it would be if you can create some animated object on your Android? Making these figures do silly, brave, stupid things. Pretty cool, right? So when my niece asked me if I was any good with cartoons, I quickly started searching on the Play Store to find a solution. I didn’t want to disappoint her after all.

How to create stick figure animation on Android

After searching for a while, I found some amazing stick figure animation apps that allow you to bring your creativity to the forefront for everyone to see. You can create simple, functional stick figure animations on your Android in your free time. For example, create a dog and make it run, or enter the ninja mode and make two stick figures fight it out to the death. I like the latter option more, but I despise crime. Just letting you guys know.

Let’s see how you can create stick figure animation on your Android phone.

1. StickDraw – Animation Maker

StickDraw is a cool little app that will allow you to draw stick figures using your fingers. Basically, you are looking to create frames. So you create one frame and then move on to the next, similar to how you do it in stop-motion animation.

How to Fight With a Stick

You can also draw circles, squares, lines, and use colors and images in the background. After you are done with your art, you can import it as a GIF or MP4 file format. You can move/drag the animation around to place in a different location. There are a bunch of settings available for changing brush size, sharing, and toolbar settings.

The app is ad supported and you can upgrade to pro for $1.99 to remove the ads. Features remain the same.

Bottom Line: The interface was easy to use. Remember to save your project before closing the app or all your efforts will be lost. It would have been amazing if there was an option to add audio.

2. Stick Nodes: Stickman Animator

Stick Nodes is a really powerful app, thanks to its thriving community. The strength lies in the feature where you can download anything that a fellow animator has created and shared with the community. This gives you access to some cool and amazing animations to begin with. For instance, here is one Christmas GIF animation I found.

How to Fight With a Stick

Some advanced features that I found missing in other stickman apps included a virtual camera to zoom and move around, adding sound effects in frames, gradient colors, and text field.

I recommend the pro version, available at $2.99, where you get MP4 export, no ads, add sound effects, no watermark on exports, and some additional special effects like blur, saturation, tint, and invert.

Bottom Line: I got tired of scrolling but there are thousands of animations to choose from. A strong community with a set of Pivot Stickfigure Animator inspired features makes it one of the better stick figure animation apps out there.

3. Stickman Animator

Stickman Animator is a rather simple app when you compare it to the likes of Stick Nodes, but it does have its merits. The app claims that you can create animations “quickly”. You can create a stickman using the Pivot Creator and make it move using Pivot Animator. There are a bunch of pivots you can download, but only after liking their Facebook page.

How to Fight With a Stick

There is a marketplace where you can remove ads ($0.99) and buy from a limited choice of pivots for $0.89 each.

Bottom Line: What I liked about the app was that moving the stick animation figure in a direction was easier, and the marketplace has a bunch of readymade pivots to choose from. But it could have been better.

4. Stick Fighter

This app is made to do exactly what it says and the reason why I started exploring stick figure animation apps. I grew up watching WWF (now WWE and boring), so you can’t blame me.

You don’t really have to create stick figures or any other figure here. The app will provide you everything from stickman to weapons and several everyday objects like a ladder, tree, etc. You then go on to create a scene where one stickman is fighting another using swords, guns or bazooka!

How to Fight With a Stick

By far, I found this app to be the easiest to use and it gave me instant gratification. For someone who doesn’t know how to create a stickman, I am no artist, and want to come up with something fast, this is a cool little app.

This is not to say that you cannot create your own stickman using the building blocks feature but it is a little limited. I would like to see more options instead of the regular circle, line, and curve feature. The app is completely free and is supported by ads. There is no pro version.

Bottom Line: The app comes with everything I needed to create a scene where stickmen were fighting amongst each other, but if you are looking to create elaborate scenes, Stick Nodes: Stickman Animator is still the better option.

5. Stick Node Animator

Stick Node Animator made the list because it has the ability to auto-generate frames. Let me explain. The app is rather simple. You create a stickman and then go on to create more figures for different frames. Stick Node Animator will automatically fill the gap by generating frames in between two frames in different positions. This way, creating a 5FPS frame will give you a 30FPS experience.

How to Fight With a Stick

The whole concept of the app is to allow you to create some quick animations. To help you achieve this, the app offers you pre-designed stick figures.

Bottom Line: I liked the app because of its ability to fill the gaps between the frames making the whole process a lot faster.

Wrapping Up: Create Stick Figure Animation

While there are plenty of apps to create stickman figure animations, I liked Stick Nodes: Stickman Animation because of its huge active community and the number of features it has to offer.

I also liked Stick Fighter because it allowed me to rediscover the child in me and will allow you to quickly create fun animations that you can show off.

How to Fight With a Stick

Simple Arcade Stick Customization: Custom Buttons

Arcade Sticks are great for Fighting Games, Shoot’em Ups, and many arcade titles/emulators. Custom Buttons are a simple way to personalize your Arcade Stick. In this DIY I go over Sanwa, and Seimitsu brand buttons, but many similar buttons have very similar install.

Supplies –

  • 30mm Arcade Stick buttons with clear, or tinted caps (24mm for start/back buttons)
    • has a wide selection of buttons
    • At I offer a selection of buttons that include the printing and install
  • Scissors
  • Precision screw driver
  • Optional
    • Glue Stick (Photo Safe, Acid Free, Dry Clear)

Step 1: Create Your Image File

Download the PSD file with the 2 button size templates, then open it in your preferred photo editing software. ( works well and is free)

  • Insert the images you would like to use and re size them to fit into the circles of the template.
  • Print your images. (Normal paper can work, but I prefer glossy thin paper. Thicker paper may make it harder to re assemble the button, but if cut correctly even photo paper will work)
  • Cut the images out, the way the template is made you want to cut on or just inside of the black circle.
  • Attachments

Step 2: Disassemble the Buttons – Sanwa

    1. Locate the tab hole on the side of the button.
    2. Insert the precision screw driver into the hole, under the white tab, press the tab in and down, then do the same on the other side of the button which will push the center of the button out through the top. (see the pictures)
    3. Remove the clear plastic cap from the white plastic plunger. Grab the white plunger with one hand and pull down on the clear plastic rim with the thumb of the other.
    4. Remove the small white disc out of the clear cap.

Step 3: Disassemble the Buttons – Seimitsu

    1. Remove the plastic screw, then locate the hole with the plastic tab in it.
    2. Insert the precision screw driver into the hole, under the tab, press the tab in and down, then do the same on the other side of the button which will push the center of the button out through the top.
    3. Pull the white plastic plunger out of the cap

    Step 4: Reassemble Buttons: Sanwa

    1. Put a small bit of Glue on the flat side of the white disc (This is optional but keeps the image from rotating during game play, but also is easy to remove and doesn’t damage the image)
    2. Insert the image into the clear cap, the bump in the clear cap can be considered the top or the bottom, and a good way to orient how you insert the image. The image shows the bump I’m talking about.
    3. Put the white disk back inside of the clear cap, line the bump on the back of the disk with the bump on the clear cap. See the picture.
    4. Line up the small gap on the white plastic plunger, with the bump on the back of the white disk, and the bump on the clear plastic cap and push the pieces together.
    5. Insert the cap/plunger back into the outer rim, align the white tabs with the holes in the rim then push it back in.

    Step 5: Reassemble Buttons: Seimitsu

    1. Put a small bit of Glue on the flat side of the white plunger (This is optional but keeps the image from rotating during game play, but also is easy to remove and doesn’t damage the image)
    2. Insert the image into the cap, then re insert the white plunger.
    3. Insert the Plunger/Cap into the outer rim by lining up the tabs with the holes

Calogrenant is knocked off his horse by the other knight’s lance. A lance was a long wooden spear with a sharp metal point. When knights fought, they would charge at each other on their horses from as far away as possible. They would try to spear each other with their lances or knock each other to the ground. A knight had to protect himself with his shield with one hand while trying to use his own lance against his enemy (as well as steering his horse).

Still, lances weren’t much use after the first charge – they often broke in the clash and were difficult to use in close-up fighting. So then the knights would fight with swords, standing up in their stirrups and hammering at each other’s helmets or trying to cut through each other’s mail.

If one knight fell from his horse, the other was supposed to get down too and they would carry on fighting on foot. If the loser was not killed, he often had to declare himself the prisoner of the other and do what he asked.

How to Fight With a StickSometimes knights would fight as entertainment for other people to watch. These pretend fights were called tournaments.

Two knights might fight each other alone (this was called single combat) while a huge crowd watched and cheered. Or else a large number of knights might form two teams, like two enemy armies, and try to beat one another at jousting (fighting on horseback with a lance) and sword-fighting.

Ladies often gave favours or tokens (a scarf or a flower or part of their sleeve) for their favourite knight to wear. Sometimes they would be the judges, deciding who had fought the best and giving prizes.

Introduction: How to Make a Stickman in Pivot Stickfigure Animatior!

How to Fight With a Stick

How to Fight With a Stick

How to Fight With a Stick

Hello again, I’m here again with the Pivot Stickfigure Animator. Instead of animating, I’m here to show you how to make your own stickman!

Step 1: Step 1: Opening the Window.

The first step to making your own stickman is opening the ‘Stick Figure Builder’ window. You can find this under the file option and pressing ‘Create Figure Type’.

Step 2: Step 2: Building the Figure.

Now when you open up the ‘Stick Figure Builder’ window, you’ll see this. Don’t be frightened by the buttons.

Step 3: Step 3: the Backbone

Think of your stickman as a skeleton. All skeletons have a backbone. The backbone is what will give your stickman most of it’s movement.

The button with 2 line segments is the duplicate button. It duplicates the selected line segment (blue line). Now that you have your second line segment, you want to click on the red dot (joint) to attach it to the first segment.

    Step 4: Step 3.5: Length

If you want to change the length of your line segment, you can go to the ‘Options’ tab and click ‘Edit Mode’. You’ll know ‘Edit Mode’ is active when it has the check mark next to it.

Now, move your segments around, experiment with what you like and don’t like. We all have different preferences.

    Step 5: Step 4: Thickness.

Now that you’ve played around with the edit tool, and found something you like, it’s recommended you turn it off for the time being.

Now it’s time to experiment with the thickness of your stickman. You can change the thickness of the line segment selected with the arrows above the ‘duplicate’ button. I personally prefer 13 for the basic stickman.

Step 6: Step 5: the Legs.

The top button will add line segments to your figure. With this you will be able to add the legs, arms, neck, and feet.

The legs aren’t a necessity for a stickman, but are highly recommended. Legs can be experimental as well. You can have them however long you want them to be. For thickness, I generally have them 3-4 pixels larger than the body.

The forelegs should be a little shorter that the thigh, and the foot should be much smaller than both thigh and foreleg.

Step 7: Step 6: the Arms.

The arms are super simple stuff. Make them however long you desire them to be, and make the forearm a little smaller.

Step 8: Step 7: the Neck.

A neck isn’t necessary for a stickman, but I like to put them for realism. 🙂 The neck can be any size you want it to be, but for this stickman, it’s the size of two feet segments, and 2 pixels thinner than the body.

Step 9: Step 8: the Head

The button below the first one will add circle segments instead of line segments. You can use this for the head. The head should be a reasonable size that corresponds with the body.

Now you can either fill the head in, or leave it the way it is.

To fill it in, add a line segment from the top of the head or the neck to fill in the hole, then blow it up so it covers the hole, but not too much that it’s bigger than the head. Next, press the button below the ‘duplicate’ button. This makes a segment ‘static’ instead of ‘dynamic’. Static means that the joint will not appear when yo are animating, and the head will remain filled.

    Step 10: Part 9: Options.

Now you that you’re stickman is done, you can either add him to the animation right away, or save him, and use him for later. I recommend that you ‘Save As’ before adding him into the animation.

    Step 11: The Product.

Congratulations! You’ve made it to the end. I hope I’ve taught you a thing or two about making a stickman. 🙂

    • How to Fight With a Stick

Did you make this project? Share it with us!

Are you really enjoying various arcades? If so, you may like the game under the promising title Stickman Fight. This is a sequel of a famous game, and many fans all over the world have been waiting for this day. Dozens of dynamic fights are waiting for you here, and you may operate not only with a stick, but with other cool weapon. There are plenty of levels that consist of different locations and various enemies on them. You need to take care and follow the signs, not to be trapped and killed by the other gamer, a bit luckier than you.
Your character is one against numerous enemies, and you need to help him to save his life. Your hero looks cartoonish, but his fighting skills and armoire is far from being fairy-tale. He can vanquish all enemies, but only if you help him in this difficult mission. You can start with swords, and end up with machine guns, so it’s only your choice what type of weapon to choose. But, when you start the game, you are very limited in options you may choose, and you should fight, earn money and upgrade you character and his armoire. So, the more money you earn – the more powerful your character becomes. But even at this starting point you can do a lot – you can fight with your fists. The game on this page has a special mode, where you have a huge amount of crystals at your disposal. You can choose this game currency the way you like, and only you can decide what things should be developed at first. You can take part in tournaments, and earn even more money than for defeating a single simple enemy. So, there are plenty of options in this game, and you can do absolutely everything you want.

Anyone who loves fighting games knows the importance of a good fight stick. It must be responsive, sturdy, easy to use, and ideally have a nice, long cable. Unfortunately, the Nintendo Switch is still new enough that it doesn’t have a ton of options in the way of good, compatible fight sticks, and its tiny Joy-Cons won’t do if you want to get seriously competitive. Fortunately, the handful of fight sticks out there are all mostly solid choices for the amount you pay for them and are even compatible with other platforms as well, so you don’t have to buy a bunch of peripherals for every device you own.

The top of the line : HORI Real Arcade Pro V

Like so many other Hori products, the Pro V prides itself on being officially licensed by Nintendo. It’s far and away the most expensive fight stick, but it’s also the best-reviewed. The buttons respond well, and the Hayabusa stick (familiar to anyone who has used a Hori fighting stick before) has a great feel to it. The cable is 10 feet long, so you shouldn’t have any issues with distance from the console. This is probably the closest you can get to mimicking a proper arcade cabinet in your home.

Fighting stick on a budget : 8Bitdo N30 Fight Stick

This fight stick from 8Bitdo is far cheaper than the Hori. Though not nearly as well-reviewed as the Hori, for a third of the price, the N30 is a solid choice with a few more options. It has a broader compatibility range than the Hori. Not only does it work on the Switch and PC, but it’s also usable on Mac and Android and can be connected via Bluetooth to capable devices. Also, unlike the Hori, it’s easier to mod and customize. This is an excellent choice if you’re on more of a budget but want a quality model with wide compatibility. Note: This stick is currently unavailable at Amazon (and is only sold there for now), but we’ll update once they’ve restocked!

Midrange price with compatibility : Mayflash F500

The Mayflash has multiple models, and on the more expensive end is the $90 Mayflash F500. It far outstrips even the Hori in compatibility, working with PS4, PS3, Xbox One, 360, PC, Android, and of course, the Nintendo Switch. It also supports headsets but unfortunately not on the Switch. The F500 is larger than the F300 and has a lot more weight to it. The buttons and stick are responsive and easy to mod if you like. Pick this if you don’t mind paying a bit more to use one stick across multiple devices, including the Switch.

Budget price with compatibility : Mayflash F300

For those who like the Mayflash but don’t necessarily need headset support and want to pay a bit less, the F300 is a good option. It only costs $60 (at most), is just as sturdy as its more expensive cousin, and has the same compatibility. Really, the main differences are that the device, on the whole, is smaller, and it doesn’t have headset support on non-Switch devices. If you’re only planning to use the fighting stick for Switch, this is a fine, less expensive choice.

    Our pick

While there are not yet tons of fighting sticks available for the Nintendo Switch, there are enough options that you should be able to find one that suits your needs. I favor the HORI Real Arcade Pro V for its excellent feel and responsiveness.

While the 8Bitdo Fight Stick has been a good budget option in the past, its spotty availability make it harder to recommend now. If you can find one, great, go for it, but unless they restock more consistently, the Mayflash F500 is our new go-to, especially if we want cross-compatibility across multiple devices.

Your IP address has been temporarily blocked due to a large number of HTTP requests. The most common causes of this issue are:

    • If you are using Maxthon or Brave as a browser, or have installed the Ghostery add-on, you should know that these programs send extra traffic to our servers for every page on the site that you browse. Using GameFAQs regularly with these browsers can cause temporary and even permanent IP blocks due to these additional requests.
    • Some unofficial phone apps appear to be using GameFAQs as a back-end, but they do not behave like a real web browser does. This triggers our anti-spambot measures, which are designed to stop automated systems from flooding the site with traffic. Continued use of these apps may cause your IP to be blocked indefinitely. There is no official GameFAQs app, and we do not support nor have any contact with the makers of these unofficial apps.
    • Using a script or add-on that scans GameFAQs for box and screen images (such as an emulator front-end), while overloading our search engine
    • Running a “scraper” or “downloader” program that either does not identify itself or uses fake headers to elude detection
    • Using a badly configured (or badly written) browser add-on for blocking content
    • Overusing our search engine with a very large number of searches in a very short amount of time
