As you can see, whether you’re using Google Chrome, Internet Explorer (or Edge), or Safari—creating a PDF from a webpage follows a similar process: print, save as PDF, download.

Don’t forget the customization options before saving your page. Depending on the browser, you can set a new page title, set margins, and color sizes for your PDF.

How To Save a Webpage as PDF in Firefox

Unfortunately (and weirdly enough)—Firefox does not have a built-in feature for users to save a webpage as a PDF freely.

However, there are add-ons that you can install directly from the Mozilla web store to do so. Worst-case scenario—you can install one of the browsers mentioned above for free to save the desired webpages.

Although we live in a perpetually online world, there are times when you want to save a web page as a PDF document so that you can read it later. You can copy the link to the web page and send yourself an email, but you will need an active internet connection to read it again. Saving a webpage as a PDF is a great way to keep the content in an easily accessible format.

Besides, once you save a webpage as PDF, you have the option to annotate it or print it for your records. But how do you save a webpage as a PDF?

Here is a step-by-step guide that can help you save almost any webpage from your browser directly on your device in a PDF format. We have tried to cover the most popular browsers in the following guide as there are several browsers. We will be covering Google Chrome, Microsoft Edge, Mac Safari, and Firefox.

Google Chrome

To convert the content on a webpage to a PDF document on Google’s Chrome web browser, follow the steps outlined below:

  • Open a webpage that you want to save in a tab of the browser.
  • Click on the three-dot icon on the top right corner.
  • Choose Print from the drop-down menu.
  • Alternatively, you can press ControlControl + P on Windows PC and Command + P on Mac to access the print menu.
  • Once you follow the above steps, you will see a pop-up window appearing from where you can select the file’s destination and print the webpage to PDF easily.

Microsoft edge

Microsoft is the new browser from Microsoft and is the successor of the good old internet explorer. As the latest version of this browser is based on Chromium, the steps to convert a webpage to PDF we describe apply to the latest version and not the previous versions:

  • Click the three-dot icon that is found in the top right corner.
  • Select Print from the drop-down menu or activate the Print menu directly by pressing ControlControl + P on windows PC and Command + P on Mac.

Apple Safari

Saving a webpage as a PDF on Safari is very simple. There is more than one way to download a webpage as a PDF on this browser. Here is the simplest and the least complicated way to do it.

  • Open the webpage you want to save as a PDF.
  • Click the menu that says File and select Export as PDF.
  • A pop-up window will appear where you can choose the destination of the document, file name, and other aspects.
  • Hit Save, and that’s it!

Mozilla Firefox

Firefox is quite popular, especially among Windows users, but it does not have an in-built PDF printer to download webpages as PDF. The browser must rely on Microsoft Print to save a webpage as a PDF.

You can get the job done using the following steps:

  • Click the hamburger icon (three like icon) on the top right.
  • Select Print on the drop-down menu.

But it could easily be added to the standard browser Safari using a special online service to convert web pages.

Using this bookmark will allow you to save any page in foramata pdfand then open it in a program that supports this format, for example iBooks.

  • Copy the following code to the iOS clipboard:

javascript: pdf_url = location.href; location.href = ‘http: //pdfmyurl.com? url =’ + escape (pdf_url)

  • Now open at Safari any page and add a new bookmark.
  • Then open the list of all bookmarks and press the key. Change.
  • Find the bookmark you just created and replace the page address with the clipboard script.

To save any page to pdf while browsing the website, the bookmarks panel opens and the bookmark is activated with the script. Afterwards, the finished document will open in the browser.

If there’s an article behind a paywall which you want to share with someone, you can use the Export as PDF feature for it. Also make sure that the website has loaded up properly before you click on the File menu. For some reason, and maybe it’s a bug in macOS Catalina, the option for exporting the site as PDF is grayed out at certain times.

This feature for saving a website as a PDF file has been around for quite some time now. But only a few people know about it and I have seen many resort to different online services and tools to save an entire webpage as a PDF file.

The browsing patterns of most users haven’t changed since 2018. People still visit and spend most of their time on social media platforms like Facebook and YouTube. This makes them viable websites for others to entice users to check out their websites.

This led to the creation of clickbait articles and other similar media. Though they’ve died down in recent times, their influence remains. Sponsored ads on social media platforms lead a user to another website to view their content.

Because of how engaging social media is, most people go back without checking what the website has to offer. If you don’t want to miss out on anything, though, you can always save the webpage to your device. Read on to learn how you can save webpages to view later.

Save it as an HTML

Can you save a webpage as a document on Mac? Saving a webpage as an HTML is the simplest way to save any content to your device for later viewing. All you need to do is click on your browser’s menu button and then click on the “Save page as.”

Using a familiar web browser will make this easier for you as their menu button can differ. Firefox and Chrome use a unique symbol while Internet Explorer uses a gear button. Safari has a File menu visible on the top of the browser.

You can also right-click on a webpage and click on the “Save as” option on the pop-up box. This will also save the page to your device as an HTML file.

Saving Webpages as a PDF

PDFs are great file types because of how versatile they are for the users. PDF files are easy to view, and editing them is simple. You can also share PDF files through Facebook to share with others without trouble.

This was a struggle for Mac users before since web browsers didn’t give the option to save webpages as PDF files. Most browsers still don’t give the option today, but you can save websites as PDF files on Safari and by using keyboard shortcuts.

The Mac shortcut is CTRL + S and you will receive a pop-up that asks you to confirm the name of the file. Once you learn how to save a webpage as a PDF on Mac using this keyboard shortcut, you can go back to your preferred social media platform to socialize without missing a beat.

Add the Website to Your Reading List

Another way you can view websites on your device is to add them to your browser’s reading list. This is like making a bookmark for different websites, but with the added benefit of caching the website saved. It’s a great way to prevent long loading times when you open them later on.

You can also check the webpages even when you’re offline. Adding these webpages to your list doesn’t save them for offline viewing by default, though. You can enable this by editing your preferences to allow offline reading on your browser.

You can only do this on select web browsers, though. Check if your current web browser has this feature first. Safari, Chrome, and Firefox have this feature built into them.

Screenshot the Webpage

Taking screenshots of the webpage is always a great way to save webpages to your device. This is a great option if you’re not confident in your internet connection to download the webpages. In case you’re not familiar, you need to press the Shift, Command, and number 3 keys together.

Doing this helps you save on storage space as image files have smaller file sizes. You can’t interact with any hyperlinks on the saved screenshots, though.

Firefox and Chrome both allow you to view visited and saved websites through their offline mode. This uses a browser’s cached data to load any website you’ve visited before. You can even save new websites without visiting them by caching them as they load.

In Chrome, you must enable the viewing of flags to save webpages. Look for the “Show Saved Copy Button” flag and enable it. Restart your browser to allow the changes to take effect.

On Firefox, click on the browser menu and select the “Developer” option. Select the “Work Offline” option and you can have access to cached websites offline. Remember that clearing your cache will prevent you from using offline mode well.

Use Third-Party Programs

You can use different software to save a webpage or even an entire website on your device. SiteSucker is a great tool that lets you download a website to browse at your leisure. You can even pause the download to check the downloaded webpages.

The only problem you’ll encounter with this method is storage. Depending on how big the website is, your download can be as big as 1-5 GBs. To have an uninterrupted download, delete apps from MacBook along with files you don’t need.

Download Browser Extensions

With different browser extensions, you can download any webpage’s data and view it later on. PageArchiver for Chrome helps you download multiple webpages at once. This extension downloads all pages open in your browser upon clicking download.

Mozilla Archive Format is a Firefox extension that ensures accurate downloads. This is because the extension saves the page you want to download as it is. It includes any audio and video file on the page.

Saving Partial Website Elements

If you only want to save some elements like images or videos, using Safari as your browser is your best bet. It allows you to save elements faster through different commands.

Holding the Control button and clicking on an image saves it to your Downloads folder. Doing the same command to a link saves it to your device’s clipboard.

Videos are different because websites have different policies on their video content. A download button should be available if the website allows it.

There are plenty of reasons to want to save a complete web page to a PDF file. Perhaps you want to save a favorite online story, you’d like to create a digital library of your favorite tips from The Rocket Yard, or would like a PDF file of a long, scrolling web page containing all of your credit card charges for the last five years.

Previously, this could only be done using certain browsers, with an iOS Automation that saved the web page as a PDF, or by using third-party solutions that grabbed and saved complete web pages for you. In macOS Catalina, iOS 13, and iPadOS 13, Apple has finally made it easy to save full, long web pages displayed in Safari as PDF files, without needing to scroll and print individual screens as PDFs.

Here’s how it’s done:

iOS 13 and iPadOS 13

1 – Open the web page in Safari

2 – Tap the share icon

3 – In the dialog that appears, tap the Options link next to the name of the web page or article (see below)

4 – Select PDF from the list of options (see below), then tap Back

5 – Now either share the PDF with someone using Mail, Messages, AirDrop or other sharing options, or (if you wish to save it permanently) tap Save to Files

6 – If you’ve chosen to Save to Files, the PDF is created (for my sample, which was 28 pages long, it took about 7 seconds), and then a Files dialog appears (see image below). Select the folder into which the PDF should be saved, then click the Save button at the top of the dialog.

macOS Catalina

1 – Open the web page in Safari

2 – Select File > Export as PDF… from the menu bar (see screenshot below)

3 – Select a location to save the converted web page, and click Save

Is that easy or what? Note that with both methods — for iOS/iPadOS and macOS Catalina, you may occasionally have images that don’t appear. Of course, embedded videos and similar items appear as blanks in those documents as well.

Apple’s latest operating system simplifies the process of saving webpages as documents. Here’s how you can save webpages in PDF format on your iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch.

This guide is about the How to Download a Webpage Archive with Safari for Mac. I will try my best so that you understand this guide very well. I hope you all like this guide How to Download a Webpage Archive with Safari for Mac.

Have you ever wanted to download and save a particular web page as an archive for some reason? Maybe it’s an old simple personal home page that you want to keep, or maybe you want an archive from a particular website or a collection of web pages for other offline use. Safari for Mac OS provides a simple way to download and save web pages as web archives, which are standalone small archive files for any web page that can be accessed locally.

When you save a webpage as a Safari web archive on your local Mac, all of the webpage’s text, article content, images, stylesheets, and other web content are stored in that web archive file. That file can be opened locally on a Mac, even if it’s not online, but the links on the webpage still refer to the original source URLs, so following these links would still require online access, as well as submitting to forms and performing other tasks that require an Internet connection.

And if you think about it, this is not a sufficient way to back up a website or web server, which is a much more complicated process because almost all modern websites have many background components, codes, databases, scripts and other information that cannot be retrieved through this simple web archive.

Save a webpage as a web archive in Mac Safari

  1. Start Safari on your Mac if you haven’t already
  2. Open the webpage you want to download for offline use, such as this current page
  3. Go to the Safari File menu and select Save As

Select the “Format” drop-down menu and select “Web Archive”, then save the web page archive to the desired location

How to save a web page as a pdf in safari on mac

The webpage is now saved as a .webarchive file that opens in Safari. It is a self-contained file that holds web page information, text, content, images, style sheets, and other web page components.

You will now find the .webarchive file you created and saved in the Finder and open it directly in Safari. You’ll notice in the URL bar that the webpage is being read from the local file system and not from a remote server, such as “file: ///Users/USERNAME/Desktop/SavedWebPage.webarchive”.

How to save a web page as a pdf in safari on mac

The archives of a web page are often several megabytes in size, although sometimes they can be small or much larger depending on the web page being stored.

Note that this is not a solution for backing up your entire website. If you want to search the entire web page or the website and its associated directory for backup, the best way would be to log in to the appropriate web server via SFTP and download all the network files directly. If you do not know how to do this, contact your web service provider. Next, it would be best to use wget to mask the site or a similar tool, even though wget and curl do not load scripts, databases, or background information.

This can provide an interesting way to create a local web archive of specific websites, but it is not the only way to read and view web pages offline. Safari’s read list feature on Mac and iOS also allows you to view webpages and articles offline, and you can also use Print to PDF on your Mac or save webpages to iBooks on your iOS device, or use Save as PDF on iPad or iPhone to do the same task from any Safari from the web page you are viewing.

It’s worth mentioning that if you can use this trick to print a webpage without ads, but stop printing, and only save from Reader view if you want to save a simplified version of that website.

Whether you’re underground between subway stops or caught in a dead zone, or your internet is out, the most reliable way to catch up on your digital reading is to make sure it’s downloaded and accessible offline.

For Firefox, open the hamburger menu and choose Save Page As. On Safari, go to File > Save as or File > Export as PDF, and in Microsoft Edge, open the three-dot menu and choose More tools > Save page as.

You can also right-click anywhere on the page and select “Save as” with any web browser, or use the keyboard shortcut Ctrl + S in Windows, Command + S in macOS.

Firefox, meanwhile, will give you a choice between the complete package, an HTML file, and a simple text file. On Safari, you can pick between Web Archive (all text and media assets) or Page Source (source text only).

When browsing the web using Safari on macOS or iOS, you can save web pages to your Reading List. By default, Reading List won’t automatically make saved items available offline, but you can change that on Mac by selecting Safari > Preferences > Advanced and checking the box next to “Save articles for offline reading automatically.” On iOS, head to Settings > Safari > Automatically Save Offline and toggle it to on.

Add articles to your Reading List on any Apple device by selecting the Share pane and clicking “Add to Reading List.” To view the articles you’ve saved, tap the sidebar icon on a Mac (or the book icon on mobile) and click on the glasses icon.

As you go about your business on the web, your browsing history is preserved in a cache. Firefox lets you tap into the cache for offline reading. Open the hamburger menu and select More > Work Offline. This cuts off the browser’s internet connection, but allows you to access recently viewed pages. Just start typing the site you want in the search bar or navigate to the hamburger menu and select Library > History for a list of recent sites. It’s not a perfect solution, but it can help you out in a bind.

For more high-powered solutions, turn to the utility software HTTrack (for Windows, Linux, and Android) or SiteSucker (for macOS and iOS). These programs can download entire website directories from a URL, letting you navigate an entire site while offline.

Save web pages as JPEG images or PDF files in Safari on iPhone

The way web pages are saved as .jpg images or converted into PDF files has changed in iOS 13 on the iPhone. See how to save web pages as PDFs or JPEGs and how to convert one to the other.

You might sometimes wish you could save a screenshot of a web page, perhaps if you want to remember how it looks at a particular time, you want to save the current information on it, you are developing a website, and so on. There are many reasons for wanting to save a web page and it can be saved as a JPEG image or a PDF file.

Screenshot web pages on the iPhone

Taking screenshots and saving what is on the screen as a JPEG image is easy on the iPhone and all you need to do is to quickly press the sleep/wake button on the right and the volume up button. It is slightly different if you have an old iPhone with a home button and you press sleep/wake and the home button together.

Open Safari, go to the web page you want to screenshot, scroll up or down to show the part you want to save, then press sleep/wake + volume up.

The image is saved to the Photos library as a .png file and you can open the Photos app to view it, delete it, share it and so on. It is all very straightforward and little has changed over the years.

The way that web pages are saved as PDF files has changed in the latest version of iOS and the old method does not work. You used to be able to go to a web page in Safari and press the share/actions button at the bottom of the screen. On the menu was a Create PDF option (you may need to edit the actions to add it to the menu). It saved the whole page as a PDF file.

That menu option has gone in iOS 13 and you cannot save web pages as PDF files that way. Here is how to save a web page as a PDF file.

Save web page as PDF on the iPhone

  1. Open Safari and go to a web page
  2. Press the Share/Actions button
  3. Press Markup (slide the menu up if you don’t see it
  4. Press Done
  5. Press Save File To
  6. Save the file to a folder on iCloud

How to save a web page as a pdf in safari on mac

You don’t have to use the markup tools and they can be ignored, but going through the markup editor enables the web page to be saved as a PDF. It is the full web page and not just the part that is on the screen.

It includes everything, such as the header, sidebar, footer, and possibly adverts too. It is messy and distracting to see all this clutter.

There is a way to remove all the unnecessary clutter from web pages saved as PDF files and to just save the content as a PDF. This method produces a much cleaner PDF that contains only the web page content. It cannot be used on website home pages, pages with sliders and other items. It is specifically designed to save web articles as PDFs.

Save clean web page as PDF

  1. Open Safari and go to a web page
  2. Press aA in the top left corner
  3. Press Show Reader View
  4. Press the Share/Actions button
  5. Press Markup (slide the menu up if you don’t see it
  6. Press Done
  7. Press Save File To
  8. Save the file to a folder on iCloud

How to save a web page as a pdf in safari on mac

First we saw how to save a screenshot of a web page, then we saw how to use Markup to save a full web page as a PDF.

How do you save a full web page as a JPEG screenshot? You can’t. There is no way to save a full web page as a screenshot. However, there is a workaround.

You could use either of the two methods above to save a PDF of the web page, then use steps 7, 8 and 9 below. However, I want to show yet another method of saving a full web page as a PDF.

Screenshot full web pages on the iPhone

  1. Open Safari and go to a web page
  2. Press Sleep/Wake and Volume Up on the iPhone to take a screenshot
  3. Press the thumbnail image in the bottom left corner of the screen
  4. Select the Full Page tab in the markup editor
  5. Press Save PDF to Files
  6. Save the file to a folder on iCloud
  7. Open the PDF file in Preview on the Apple Mac
  8. Select File > Export
  9. Set the file format to JPEG and save it

How to save a web page as a pdf in safari on mac

Preview on the Mac will export any PDF as an image file and you can choose the format, such as JPEG, PNG and others. You can therefore use any of the methods above to create the PDF, such as pressing Share/Actions and selecting Markup or pressing Sleep/Wake and Volume Up, then tapping the thumbnail to go to the markup editor.

Select File > Export when viewing a PDF in Preview on the Apple Mac to save it as a JPEG image.

There is no way to convert PDF to JPEG or PNG on the iPhone, although third party apps may be able to do this, so if you want to save a full web page as an image, you must use a Mac to convert it. You could do this on a Windows PC with a third party tool that saves PDFs to JPEGs, but Preview in macOS is the easiest way to do it.

How to save a web page as a pdf in safari on mac

The width of the PDF that is created is set by the width of the iPhone screen. A narrow PDF is created when sleep/wake + volume up is pressed and the thumbnail tapped to open the markup editor in portrait mode.

However, if you hold the phone in landscape, Safari uses the full width to display the page and so the PDF that is created is more like what you would see on a desktop computer with a big screen. Don’t forget you can then turn the PDF into a .jpg screenshot on your Mac with Preview.

With the demise of Instapaper — in Europe at least — you may be looking for a good way to save web pages for offline reading. The obvious built-in tool for this is Safari’s Reading list, but it’s very limited. Instead, consider turning the web page into a PDF. This lets you read the page anywhere, as well as mark it up with highlights, and search its entire content using Spotlight.

The thing is, there are three different way to save a webpage as a PDF, all of them built-in to iOS. Let’s take a look at how to use them, what the differences are, and which one is best for you.

Three ways to save webpages as PDFs

There are three ways to turn a webpage into a PDF in iOS, all of which use the standard Share Sheet:

  1. Print.
  2. Create PDF.
  3. Save PDF to iBooks.

The main differences between these are that 1. formats the pages nicely, and adds a title to the resulting document; 2. creates a nice PDF, but gives it a useless title, based on the date and time you save it; and 3. adds your PDF straight to iBooks. Let’s taker a closer look at the differences. For most people, though, the third option — saving to iBooks — will be the best, especially in iOS 12.

Before you use any of these methods, though, do yourself a favor and switching to Safari’s Reader View, which cleans up a webpage, removing ads and navigational elements, and showing only beautifully-formatted text, and images. Otherwise you’ll be saving all that cruft into your PDF, increasing its size, and making it harder to read.

Print to PDF

The first method on this list doesn’t look like a way to save a PDF, but it relies on a neat trick inherited from the Mac: Any time you open up the print dialog, you can save that item as a PDF instead of printing it. We have a whole how-to dedicated to this neat hack.

How to save a web page as a pdf in safari on macPrinting to PDF is easy — just pinch out on this view.

Printing to PDF is easy. You just pick that option in the Share Sheet, and then pinch out on the resulting preview of the print job. You get a nice PDF, split into pages like a book, ready to be shared or saved. I’ll save it to Apple’s Books app (previously named iBooks) to keep things neat.

The most important things to not about print to PDF, instead of just saving a PDF (the next section), is that the resulting PDF gets the same title as the webpage you saved, and is saved as a multi-page PDF.

Create PDF

If you save the same page with he Create PDF option in the Share Sheet, then there are two differences. One is that the PDF is saved as one long single-paged document, and the other is that the title is useless. The example I saved this morning as I wrote this article is titled Safari – 25 June 2018 at 09_26_. I guess that web developers might need snapshots of their pages, but even for them this is somewhat useless, as the only differences are the time and the date.

I don’t like this option at all.

Save PDF to Books

The third option is to save the PDF direct to iBooks/Books. This is, in my opinion, the best of the lot. Your PDF gets a proper title — the title of the original webpage — and is split into pages, like a book. The PDF also has some other extras: In the bottom left corner of each page is the url if the original page. It’s small, and gray, so it’s unobtrusive, but you can always click it to open the original page. This link doesn’t appear in the other options.

In the bottom right corner of every page is the date and time the snapshot was taken, along with a Page x of y legend.

Books as an alternative to Instapaper

If you’re looking for a local way to replace Instapaper, or another read-later service, then saving PDFs to iBooks seems like a good way to do it, especially as iOS 12’s new Books app makes reading PDFs even nicer, with proper search, and a thumbnail overview of all your pages.

But right now, in the iOS 12 beta at least, Books lacks a few essentials. One is that you can add proper highlights to a PDF. PDF highlights are kept with the document as actual snippets, so in supporting apps you can view all your highlights in one place. Books only lets you use a colored marker to draw on the page. And right now, there’s no way to share these PDFs out of Books other than email, printing, or AirDrop.

That will almost certainly change, though. And if it doesn’t, you can always access them on your Mac.

Conclusion

None of the three methods above is perfect. Each of them misses a key ingredient. Printing to PDF gives a nice PDF, and a proper file name, but requires a lot of tapping to get there. And the Books option doesn’t yet offer proper highlights or export.

Still, we’re almost there, and Books is a great place to read on the iPad and iPhone. If you have any alternatives, let me know on Twitter.

Internet bring you all the information you want into your screen with a simple mouse click. You can get plenty of information on any subject with a simple Google search. Most of these knowledge sources are blogs, websites and community forums, those are heavily depends on advertising income to meet their expense.

Some of these web sites are heavily packed with commercials, video advertisements and blank spaces on the page. These video and audio advertisements are distractions while you land on the page. To filter out the real article content from these webpages are not an easy job.

More over, if you want to print or save these articles, it is going to waste lost of space in your printed or saved pages with advertisements and blank spaces.

Safari and Mozilla already resolved this problem by implementing Reader feature with in their browser. There are additional plugins compatible to all the browsers are also available to filter out the ad content from webpages. This browser built in feature or additional plugins help the visitors to read the article without any distraction.

There are two steps involved to save a web page into a clean PDF file. First one is to convert webpage into clean page. The second part is to export this clean webpage into a PDF file. In this article, we described the workaround to save webpage into a clean PDF file for most used web browsers.

In the PDF conversion step, MAC and new Windows OS like Windows 10 support to print directly to PDF file. Some of these browsers also support to convert web pages directly into PDF.

Save Chrome Webpage into Clean PDF

Google Chrome browser does not have any default feature to get the Reader view. But there are bunch of plugins available to add this feature on your Google Chrome browser.

In this workout we used Readability plugin to get the Reader view. You can see more details of these plugins that support for Google Chrome and Safari in this article Get Safari Reader Feature in Chrome and FireFox for A Clean Webpage.

Now you have a clean page and the next step is to print or export this to PDF file. To save this into PDF, go to Chrome > File > Destination > Save as PDF > Save.

Save Firefox Webpage into Clean PDF

Firefox recently implemented Reader feature that let you see the reader view of any page. Open your required page in Firefox browser and you can see reader icon on address bar right to the url.

Once you click on the reader icon you will get a clean page on your firefox browser for the supported pages. This icon will only display if your landed webpage support Reader view.

Now you can convert this clean page into a PDF file. You have to use the print function in Firefox to save as PDF file. Click on Firefox File > Print > PDF > Save as PDF.

Save Safari Webpage into Clean PDF

Safari has built in Readers view mode that clears out all page clutter and generate a clean page of the website.

To select Readers view, please move your cursor on top left of your address bar and you see the icon on left like the screen shot below. Click on the icon and Safari will remove all page ads and clutters and display a clean page.

Now you can export this clean page into PDF. Please go to File > Export as PDF to save the website into a PDF file. The alternative way is, go to File > Print > PDF > Save as PDF. This second screen let you to directly send the PDF format to email or save page to Post Script.

Save IE Webpage into PDF

Microsoft introduces reading view in Internet Edge Browser for Windows 10 that helps you to focus on the content. When you open any article in Edge Browser, you will see a reader icon on right side of the site address. You can get a clean article page when you click on this icon.

This icon will display only when the load webpage is compatible to Reader View. Now you can save this page into PDF format, please go to Print > Save as PDF.

Most of the time you will be able to see the built in Reader function. However there are sites not supporting the Readers view function and you may not see this icon on such web sites.
